What Central Europe Will Become; A Plan for Success

Day 1,652, 20:19 Published in Canada Canada by Shoi12

What will happen in the most entertaining part of the world in the next month? Only time will tell, but let's take an educated guess, and see if we can skew the results in our favor.

Here are the major players in the area: Poland, FYROM, and Serbia for ONE, and Greece, Romania, and Turkey for the good guys. There are also other countries that could tip the scale, including Albania, Montenegro, Italy, Slovenia, and Austria. The Baltic War will also play a crucial role in the overall outcome. While France and the USA could eventually help, they would at most come in at the end of the war. But I believe that though the opposition is powerful, through key battles and tricks we can become victorious.

Let's assume the following are true: Hungary will be defeated by the combined forces of France/USA (looking likely), and Spain is likewise defeated by Portugal/China. Germany keeps its pact to not revolt in Polish lands.

Step #1A: Free Italian lands from Slovenia
With the Italian freed from Slovenian control, Italy could once again start its reconquest in southern Italy. With two fronts battling Serbia, they may start wearing down, especially if China helps with an invasion as well. If Italy reaches down to its oil provinces, it could force Serbia to sacrifice either its homeland or the oil. So fight to capture Liguria and Emilia-Romagna! ETA: 16 hours-3 days

Step #1B: Victory in the Baltic
Belarus and Russia are already making good progress crushing the Latvian and Lithuanian armies. When both countries are occupied, there will be a path for a blitz of Poland. Of course, Poland will be a strong foe, but their role is not for all-out conquest. Russia and Belarus should at the very least keep Poland occupied. With Poland distracted, they will not be able to fight at full strength in the heart of the battle. Possibly, they could be duped into NEing Russia, stalling them for a week. Poland is not the main objective, but getting them sidetracked could be pivotal. ETA 1-3 days

Step #2: 3-Way Invasion of Serbia
If Romania declared war on Serbia right away, I can guarantee that Poland would quickly NE them in a heartbeat. But with Italy freed, and Poland distracted, Romania can then attack Serbia from the north without Poland attacking them, lest they want to pay an absurd gold fee. The revolts brewing in Bosnia & Herzegovina and Croatia could then begin. Invading from the south, Italy would cause trouble, harassing the Serbian army. After some defense in Turkish lands, the close fight up to this point will tip in favor of the Turks, and they can start a successful invasion of Serbian lands. Romania will start invading Croatian and Bosnian lands, and can liberate our allies after the war. Our fallen foes can help themselves out, RWing like hell until they finally succeed. While Serbia is mighty, they cannot survive a 3-way assault and internal chaos with no one else by their side. ETA 5-10 days

Step #3: Cleanup, Invasion of Poland, Slovenia
Cleaning up Bulgarian and Polish rebels, we will now be free to attack Poland on all sides, giving our Russian friends some needed backup. By now, the Hungarian threat should be gone, and France, and possibly the US, will be able to attack Poland from the west, along with the Netherlands, who are quietly preparing to seize their beloved lands. Romania will be free to blitz Poland from the south, and Ireland may have a foothold in Germany to attack from if they so desire. Croatia, using its Austrian lands, can invade Slovenia, if the conditions are right. Possibly converting the Czechs to our side, we would be able to wipe Slovenia quickly. A Czech lusting for revenge is a good Czech, after all. Ukraine could also be tempted to take some land for themselves. (You know you want to, Ukraine) Freeing our fallen comrades will also be important; liberating our buddies in the short time that we have Serbia under control is key in helping them secure the area after Serbia eventually springs back up. ETA: Completion of Step #2 + 3-5 days

All in all, this plan could take about a month to fully enact, or could take two weeks. Remember, we cannot defeat Serbia with Turkey alone. We need EVERYONE to attack at once to beat them. Poland is the same; Russia alone won't defeat them, even with Belarus. It's a team game, people, and we must fight accordingly. This is why we have to start with liberating Italy; Serbia will be too distracted to fight Italy just to hold onto unimportant lands, and that is the key. With a reunified Italy, we can push the scum out of lands that belong to us.

TL😉R
Once Serbia is rushed from three sides, they will fall, and then the attack on Poland will be much easier. Basically, we will rush simultaneously from all sides and overwhelm them with sheer numbers. Zerg rush. Capiche?

Now, of course, there are other factors that could cause slight changes to the plan. If Greece beats FYROM, for example, that's another country to contribute to the war effort. If Albania beats Montenegro, great. More for us. But, unfortunately, if they should fall, we must leave them for now. Time is priceless, and we cannot afford to waste a second. But, if we have the opportunity and the resources, of course we should help them. But they are a secondary concern. (Besides, our Balkan pals are doing all right as it is)

So what do I envision if this plan is enacted and it works? How does a fully formed Germany sound? How does a Russian Poland sound? (I know, some of the older players irl are saying deja vu) What about a strong Italy or a Romania that spans from Germany to the Black Sea? Do you Bosnians and Croatians want your lands back? What about a Turkish Serbia? This could happen if any plan that is well-planned and executed is enacted. It could be mine or anyone else's, but I like the sound of a Europe without ONE. Don't you?

Well, I hope you enjoyed the article. If your name is Sperry, I hope you at least consider this plan. Otherwise, I'll be one sad koala, and you wouldn't like koalas when they're sad. Until next time, take care!
