What can we learn?

Day 1,428, 12:45 Published in South Africa Norway by Enriche2Ribeiro

Wow a lot has happened in the last couple of days…

Before I start with the article I would just like to send my regards to Chucker71 your article really reminded me of my family today thanks.

I always like to look back at things that have happened in history and draw from those experiences. The question I ask is how do we grow a nation that is small, into an international powerhouse economically, politically and military strong. So I reflected on history and was reminded about some instances.

First off I want to think about the depressed, down trodden German nation after world war 1. They had massive debt to repay; the economy was laughable (similar to modern day Zimbabwe); their army was almost completely disbanded and their politics was in a shamble as a system was non existent. Yet how did they go from that to battling against most of the known world a mere 20 years later? Good question?

Many people say it was accredited to Hilter, I beg to differ he might have been the face, the voice, the first stone in the pond but he defnietly wasn’t the reason. It took people lots of people. The people even in a state of loss they had their pride, and over the following 20 years took back their country (sometimes by force). The government instituted spending on a large scale, ploughing back into the German nation (sound like an article read recently written by the President).

The army was modernised and expanded at a rapid speed. The Germans had some of the most deadly military units (assegai you guys rock!). Growth was seen all over. And it started with the people getting involved, buying into a vision, a dream of a glorious empire. Hitler did many things wrong, but the one success which I have learned from him. Is that people can do anything if they have direction, dreams and a passion for their nation.

So if this article sets out to accomplish one thing, let it be what Hitler first set out to do…

BUILD A GLORIOUS NATION OF PROUD, STRONG, MOTIVATED PEOPLE.

Viva eSouth Africa, be counted and stand together new and old players alike.

Thanks Ricky
