I think it's time that people learn that eRep is a game. No matter how emotionally involved people get there will always be somebody ready to sell your soul for a little power or Gold.
Truth hurts everybody. There is little room for Moral high grounds. Why should there be? Selling out people and land in this game is a cold but legal tactic in this, so why be so surprised and hurt when it happens?
Although, there are people in this game who just want to see others thrive. See happiness and success in their country.... But what stops that perfect person from waking up one day, being bored and selling out? Nothing.
Simple advice: In RL, Trust is earned. In this game, Trust is a death sentence.
So stop crying about your friends being PTOers when you blamed the outsiders...Enjoy being beaten at your own bad judgement and move on.
eRepublik is a game to be enjoyed...enjoy it.

eRep is a strategy game. If your strategy is to buy votes, then so be it. If your strategy is PTO, then that is your strategy. If you fight against PTO then that is your strategy. As long as you follow eRep rules, like no multies, then use whatever strategy you wish to play this game. I'll say it again, this is a STRATEGY game people!
