I am asking if anyone saw Lamont get absolutely dominated on the tele tonight? They didn't even give the poor lassie a chance, not that I feel bad for her. Haha
I can honestly say it genuinely annoys me that Labour are the way they are at the moment. I was brought up in a staunch labour family and always voted labour. I know it's not a popular view but I actually thought if Brown had longer he'd have dragged the party back towards their pre-Blairite roots, but a combination of that fact, the global financial crisis and him not having a suitably media friendly smile meant the media slaughtered him.
A large part of my changing my opinion on independence despite a mistrust of the SNP is the fact that there is no viable left wing party in Westminster and no chance of there being one for some time. Under independence we'd have a chance of that at least.
We'd have a much better chance of a left-wing government than we could ever dream of earning under Westminster.
In other news, I Colin Fox have been rather inactive in the People's Communist Party due to my heavy university work and long hours at work. I hope this next month I can contribute more to the PCP and the people of the eUK.

Sure you Scots can go back to your blue paint and funny skirts. We'll keep our oil that the UK paid to develop with tax breaks for exploration. If you still insist the oil is yours I'm sure the Royal Navy would fight you for it.

I say give the scots their independence, see how long they last on their own without the english tax payer to subsidise them and support them

Actually, they are in Scottish territory which means they could be at least 90% Scotland's. I'm sorry but you don't just get to have what is in someone else's country without paying for it first. Don't you know why Project Fear and the Better-Tory Campaign are so worried about Scottish independence? It's not about keeping the Union together because England is our equal partner in a political union, it is to exploit the Scottish people, send us off in illegal wars, set up nuclear warheads just miles outside of Glasgow, take away what public institutions we have left and make them unaffordable to the many of us living in poverty, and a bunch of other shite we've put up with for decades now.
