Today's Lesson: Strength and Training

With the idea of helping the younger players, I thought I would do a few articles with the help on passing on some knowledge.... But first a disclaimer: I am not very smart, so if I have made any mistakes, PM me or comment and I will edit the article to suit.

Most of the older/wiser players will know the key to this game in the early stages is Strength. When I first joined up, I went quickly through the levels before realising this. But now I will tell you a bit about it.



Now with your training grounds you can beef up your strength (so you can do bigger hits and the follow on effect is BH etc), but the bonus is you will get 5 gold for every 250 strength. So don't be in a hurry to score massive amounts of kills (the weekly challenge is never worth it). Be patient and do the daily's and grow, also save those gold bars that you get from the Joey Development Scheme

Now about upgrading....



eRepublik's promo (I think it comes around every 6 weeks).

So what is the benefit of upgrading?

Free Training in a Q1:


In a Q1 ground, you gain 5 strength per day (average is 6.8 strength via 5 days work and training bonus). Which means that it will take you 50 days to win a Supersoldier medal (36.77 days with the bonus).

Monthly Income from the SS gold = between 3 and 4.08G per 30 days

And upgraded training center:



You will gain 10 strength per day (average is 11.8 strength via 5 days bonus). So now it will take between 21.19 and 25 days to gain 5G

Monthly Income from the SS gold = Between 6 and 7.08G per 30 days

How about over time?

After a bit more than 100 days

Without any upgrade, on day 111, you will gain your 3rd Super soldier medal (15 Gold).
With an upgrade to Q2 (and during the promo), on day 106 : you will have your 5th Super soldier medal (25 Gold).

It means that on a bit more than 3 months, you have your investment back.

So to summarize:

- Join the Joey Development Scheme
- Save your gold.
- Wait for the training grounds promotion.
- Upgrade the free grounds first (to save $$).
- Gain more strength (and give more damage for your country on the battlefield).
- Patience.
- After 3 months, you have your investment back.
