Live Sharp Look Smart

We are the citizens we've been waiting for

Seems like everything has gotten a little musty again, hasn't it? Summer doldrums I suppose. And it feels like we're in some kind of interregnum while Plato figures out what dumb tweaks to roll out next.

And of course the eUSA government is still locked up inside some weird off-game Dictator vault where they've been secluded for a long time, and that remains just boring as all f... for the rest of us.

All is Vanity

But. Hey. It's a nice summer evening. And I am enjoying the breeze. So I thought I'd try to not complain too much, nor agitate right now on why the Feds and the USWP really do need to be overthrown and why this Dictatorship has really, really got to go if we don't want to perish from boredom.

But maybe next time for that political stuff, eh?

Scene from the Socialist Freedom Party's liberated zone, somewhere near Wahpeton.

For today I just wanted to note that the eUSA and international media has gotten kinda perky this summer That's really my favorite part of the game, so thanks to the writers who're making that happen.

A few recommendations and notes...

It's cool that Hadrian X is back to enliven the media a bit with The X-Files by HX. Very entertaining (even though Citizen X has thrown in his lot with those stinkpot ultra-revisionists in the US "Workers" Party...)

Speaking of anti-revisionism, shout out to Ya Boi D Money too, back from a long retirement and now burning up the Top news with his inflammatory style of satire, sass and dialectical scissions in the Queer Nationalist News. Stay weird, my man!

Kudos too to Ya Boi D Money's arch-rival (LOL), that erstwhile friend of the working player, well-known proletarian potter, and generally cranky Old Fart, Comrade-General George Armstrong Custer, for putting the pizazz back into the government media. Check out his handiwork in the White House Press Report.

And a quick review of the current state of the Murikanikan media wouldn't be complete without a nod to the Schubacca, whose Schu Report has taken a delightfully whimsical turn of late.

Naturally, acknowledgements and deep bows must go to the nation's newest media gem, the Gentle Thunder from Down Under, Ilene Dover, for her detailed, accessible and humorous explanations of the ever-changing game mechanics in The Maiden's Peach.

And, though I am reluctant to say so, since I know he hates me like dirt, I guess my summary wouldn't be complete without also mentioning everybody's favorite troll, George "Major Blight" Wee-squash-for-a-head, who has returned to poison the eUSDA with an endless supply of irony-free splenetic vitriol, spite, inane grudges and hardcore acid reflux in the comment sections of our newspapers. Thanks George. We all just love you to death. Really.

Rather than a Red Zeppelin Corps, as previously announced, the SFP is now considering moving directly to formation of a Red Rocket Corps, because that way we could send Pfeiffer to the Moon.

AND! For those who follow the international press, some good stuff going on there too...

Release the Krakken continues to enliven the Irish and Serbian e-airwaves with a steady stream of crack from the Kalashnikov.

That eternal Swedish-internationalist cosmonaut Radsoc, has launched the next wave of revolutionary airmen on a correct course, following a platform of Antiplatonism, to back up the political work of the far-left Antiplatonist MSAP. Right on, comrade, right on! e-Global Plato-Capital, your day is done! We will take the international e-proletarian revolution to infinity and beyond!

Oh. And then there's this cat kaltas from Slovenia with a paper call Insomnium, right? Check out this article: "Diary of Dreams: The fall of the old world". I don't say "wow" often. But. Yeah. Wow.

Happy Summer, happy reading, and remember to vote SFP for a happier tomorrow!
