This one time, at band camp.......

On Wednesday I helped fight in Central Croatia. I had 4 gold to my name, and used every bit of it in the battle. It was fun, but over way too quick and I didn’t feel like I had contributed much of anything.

So on Thursday I decided to bite the bullet and buy a gold pack, just so I could see what it would be like to fight with good weapons and the ability to heal at will/use powerful boosters, etc. I bought a nice tank and artillery unit. Then I headed in to battle determined to kick ass and take names.


(Now THAT’S what I’m talkin’ about!)

It was awesome. Yes, I lost a few battles, but between Central Croatia and South Dalmatia I managed to win twice as often as I lost. I took on players who looked stronger than me, but because I used better boosters and health packs I’d win. It was a blast. A 120 Gold spending spree of kick-ass fun.

But. It won’t happen again. I simply can’t afford to spend that much RL money on pixels.


(Who has this much money to spend every day? Seriously?)

So, from now on, it’ll be back to punky free boosters and cheap rifles. Oh well. I enjoyed it while I could, at least.
