Think Long and Hard, eIndia

Day 1,594, 17:33 Published in India Pakistan by av khan
I have normally considered myself on vacations from politics when outside of ePakistan but I couldn't, just couldn't miss the chance to write on this. Though as an after-thought lets not call it an outsider's interference in politics but a neutral view of current affairs of India by a writer.

The presidential elections this time are gonna be very interesting.
This time its not gonna be a fight of who is better.
Of course we all know both are awesome.
This isn't even gonna be a fight of who has better plans or who belongs to which party.
This time its gonna be a fight of who eIndia think has better foreign policy.
A look at both the manifestos, miles n mav and their comments prove my above theory.

Another interesting factor to note here is maverik's candidature, who prior to his announcement of candidature was lying low (to some extent). Of course, after looking at maverik's first comment on miles manifesto and previous article I was expecting something from (uh lets call it) proEDEN side (maverik's side) to come up with something strong, though admittedly not as strong as maverik's candidature which in a sense also proves the conviction of proEDEN side in their beliefs. As, imho, they couldn't have brought in a better candidate except one or two others. Though all of these could just be my speculations.
Nevertheless,That is a point to be noted eIndia and kept in mind while voting whether you are with or against this side.

Now lets move on to examine the foreign policies of both candidates.

I have used the word proEDEN above to cut down some extra words. But it isn't actually that. Its more like EDEN-oriented or Bulgaria-oriented. As neither maverik nor miles express explicit desires to cut off from the other side.

Looking at Bulgaria-oriented policy, its clear that they are following an uncompromising policy of 'respect and be respected' and brotherhood of the kind which one would have expected EDEN to show in solving BG-TR issue.
However, this policy in turn could pose a certain number of problems for the country in the long-term. Possibly give India at least 2 or may be more hostile nations at its borders.

India, becoming neutral won't be a good choice either as well all know neutral nations are only respected as long as they haven't got resources which the neighbours need or not even that in-case they even seem to give an inkling of siding with the nation that is neighbour's enemy. A perfect case of this would be situation of eJapan and Republic of China (Taiwan) in recent months.

Looking at EDEN-oriented policy, its my opinion, that they are following, what they would think as, path of rationality instead of (uh supposedly) respect and passion. eIndia has been proEDEN since ages. And looking at even this passionately, one would say its natural to side them.

Yet, one can't say that this side will appeal to mind after what EDEN has done to Bulgaria. Frankly, I have been looking at it and it seemed like EDEN people were somehow replaced by eRepublik admins, making mistake after mistake after mistake. An implication of this might be the end of EDEN, yes, thats very possible, which, if India follows EDEN-oriented policy would put India in a dire situation. As India, would have, most probably, lost the brother kind of relation with Bulgaria by that time which might land India in worst situation than the worst of Bulgaria-oriented side.

Though most of the article is based on speculations. The decision is very difficult eIndia. Think long and hard.

P.S: And don't forget to join the presidential debate.
