Per chi non lo sapesse: X2damnfinZ e Trico sono il primo e il secondo Titan*** in eRepublic, IDEIAS, John Largo e keyser_slo sono Top players dei rispettivi paesi.

Ci siamo lasciati una settimana fa con la presentazione dei players intervistati e la risposta alle prime due domande.

DOMANDA: Una idea comune è che molti tankoni siano mercenari. E’ vero? Quanto ti senti legato al tuo ePaese?

Grandi tanks mercenari? Non credo, per la semplice ragione che nessuno potrebbe pagare ciò che è stato effettivamente spendiamo in battaglia. Quali benefici pensi che può avere un tank che gioca 300kk in un round? per 5 golds!? Ha speso 300 barrette che sono 15 X 27.30 golds, ovvero 409 golds, senza contare le armi ... No, tu fai il danno per diversi motivi, per amore della tua eCountry, per aiutare un eFriend che te lo ha chiesto o per una questione di orgoglio (un risentimento tra tanks) questi sono i tre motivi che ti fanno spendere tutti quei golds ...

[Io non sono un mercenario. Non prendo mai i soldi per combattere (credo che l'eccezione sia il nuovo CO). Mi sento fortemente legato al mio paese, più al paese che al governo. Con questo voglio dire che se il nostro paese cercasse di allearsi con la Serbia, non combatteri più al suo fianco.

Non credo sia vero. La maggior parte del tempo mi batto per la Croazia ed i suoi alleati. Certo , io sono in RL un neozelandese che vive negli Stati Uniti, quindi mi batto anche per questo paese. Spendo i miei 25 colpi di bazooka per non alleati solo per ottenere una medaglia. Questo è quello che faccio ... Non posso parlare per gli altri tanks.

Sì, l' idea che ho è che molti sono in realtà mercenari , almeno è quello che ho sentito dire qui .
Non so se sia vero ma almeno la maggior di noi parte sa che se c'è una battaglia possono essere assunte certe MU chiamate mercenarie.
Ci sono inoltre casi individuali, un giocatore o un altro può essere assunto per aiutare in questa o quella battaglia attraverso il pagamento di forniture, il pagamento del CC, oltre a sfruttare il CO se presente.
Non è però il mio caso, dal momento che in gioco sono stato contattato solo una volta, pochi mesi fa, per aiutare in un round di una battaglia, mi hanno mandato le armi e un po di CC per compensare il mio aiuto.

Mercenari? Hmm ... il mio nick è keyser_slo ... mi hanno detto un paio di volte che dovrei cambiare in keyser_srb ... Sono stato un cittadino serbo da sempre ... dopo che sono stati introdotti i bonus. Avevo bisogno di un forte bonus paese per far cresere mia economia em dato che eravamo come fratelli, ho deciso di fare domanda di cittadinanza. Ora sono abbastanza fortunato di essere in grado di restituire qualcosa alla Serbia ... danno ... sicuramente mi piace anche la medaglia True Patriot ... 🙂
Oltre a ciò, in un certo senso siamo mercenari ... a tutti piace l'oro, giusto? A proposito del mio paese natale, la Slovenia ... a volte mi piacerebbe avere una doppia cittadinanza, sai cosa voglio dire 🙂
Volevo anche la medaglia Top Fighter ... E' dannatamente costosa. Combattere per il tuo paese è intelligente per la medaglia TP - si ottengono alcune delle risorse spese ... Ho avuto la mia prima medaglia TF proprio ieri quindi ... jeeeey 🙂




DOMANDA: Nella tua MU come siete organizzati? Oltre ai messaggi di gioco e alle chat usate SMS, FB altri strumenti per fare arrivare le direttive o per avvisare di un attacco notturno?

Io non sono coinvolto per niente nell'organizzazione della mia MU. Gioco appena un po’ perchè mi sto concentrando sul lavorare e fare soldi (per riguadagnare quello che ho speso in questo gioco). Uso IRC e TeamSpeak per chattare con altri su qualunque argomento, ma oltre a ciò ricevo PM dal Comandante della mia MU, quando ci aspettiamo una grande battaglia e mi assicuro di essere presente a spingere il muro nel momento del bisogno! Il Comandante della mia MU, Zdlemmy1, è un genio militare per quanto riguarda questo gioco ed ho il privilegio di essere nella sua MU.

Nella nostra MU usiamo soprattutto Whatsapp, per il semplice motivo che è più facile e più veloce per comunicare tra noi. Abbiamo anche un canale IRC dove coordiniamo il nostro gioco. La cosa buona è che i miei colleghi capiscono molto su questo gioco sotto il profilo militare, cioè, non è necessario andare avanti per ore a spiegare dove e perché a combattere. Basta uno sguardo alle campagne esistenti per far sapere a tutti quello che devono fare ...

Sono in una unità militare slovena, Slovenska kopenska vojska (SKV) ... non mi ricordo quando e perché mi sono iscritto, ma abbiamo una chat rizon dove ci riuniamo e facciamo qualche chiacchierata e-rep, chiacchiere un po’ su tutto ... alle 21 zulu CET (Central Europe Time ndr) circa il comandante dà a tutti un pò di carri armati e poi scegliamo una battaglia in cui abbiamo combattere assieme ... non siamo molti, 20 – più o meno- ... non molti, è per questo che mi piace ... ci conosciamo e non è molto affollato ... 🙂
Quando la Slovenia è sotto attacco (di solito sotto attacco croato), ci sono comprensibilmente più persone online, ma è ancora gestibile ... siamo un gruppo di semplici giocatori di erep ... Se non ci fossero i ragazzi di SKV non so se giocherei ancora ... probabilmente no ... ci teniamo su di morale quando le cose vanno male in e-rep o nella vita reale ... 🙂

Non ho grande esperienza di strategia per poter rispondere, in quanto per la prima volta mi trovo a capo di un piccola MU, con solo 5 giocatori, per lo più amici (principianti), senza dover seguire tattiche speciali o strategia, salvo collocare un DO in una certa battaglia, seguendo così gli ordini del Gov e del MoD ( Portogallo) .
Pur essendo lontano in questo momento la MU che considero la mia casa è il FAP ( Forze Armate del Portogallo ) .
L’ho lasciata per un po' per capire i meccanismi del gioco, nella pelle di un comandante, e gli strumenti che ha, ma sempre con l'idea di tornare un giorno a casa ( FAP ), e unirmi al gruppo di giocatori con cui mi identifico .
Molte altre MU mi hanno invitato ad unirmi a loro, ma ho rifiutato, avendo in mente di tornare al FAP, un giorno.
MU che conosco e che consiglio a chiunque voglia avere un'esperienza interessante :
- FAP ( la mia casa, che pur essendo una MU statale del Portogallo, ha uno spirito difficile da descrivere a parole, ma ho il sospetto che questo è quello che sto parlando : p )
- MEK (una MU mercenaria con giocatori esperti nel gioco e pronti ad aiutare dove possibile )
- LUP (una MU sviluppata per supportare i nuovi arrivati, e bene, ma che ospita giocatori di tutte le Divisioni in modo che, con la loro esperienza, possono aiutare i novizi di imparare il gioco e crescere)
- S.U.R. (una MU Argentina, che ha giocatori spettacolari, posso solo lodarla)

Mi ha fatto molto piacere conoscere e farvi conoscere 5 dei Top players di eRepublik, cinque tankoni, per usare il gergo comune.
Innanzitutto vorrei ringraziare IDEIAS, John Largo, keyser_slo, Trico, X2damnfiZ per la loro disponibilità e franchezza.
Vorrei spendere alcune parole sulle risposte.
• Dal punto di vista dei big tanks la recente riformulazione delle Divisioni è logica. In effetti, mettendosi nei loro panni, anche noi la penseremmo così.
• Il consiglio che tutti danno ai nuovi giocatori è di avere costanza nell’allenamento (palestre). Niente di nuovo, direte, ma se lo dicono anche i tankoni forse bisogna fate proprio così.
• Le opinioni sono divergenti sul fatto che molti Top players siano mercenari, si va dal ‘penso anche io così’ a ‘non credo sia vero’ . Forse bisogna intendersi su cosa siano i mercenari. Per me sono quelli che combattano in cambio di moneta per paesi fuori dal proprio e dalla propria alleanza. E’ poco importante se riescono a malapena a pagarsi le armi e le barrette.
• Infine debbo dire che non siamo riusciti a farci dire molto circa il funzionamento delle MU. Ma, per parafrasare John Largo:’Siamo Marines e non riveliamo i nostri segreti ’.

Torneremo successivamente su alcuni di questi argomenti.

QUESTION: A common idea is that many big tanks are mercenaries. Is it true? How do you feel emotionally tied to your eCountry?

Huge tanks mercenaries? I do not think so, for the simple reason that nobody could pay what was actually spent in battle. What benefit do you think can have a tank that plays 300kk in a round? for 5 golds!? He spent 300 bars that are 15 X 27.30 golds, or 409 golds, without taking into account the weapons ... No, you put the damage for several reasons, for love of your eCountry, to help an eFriend that asked you or for a matter of pride (a resentment among several tanks) these are the three reasons that make you spend all that gold ...

I am not a mercenary. I never take money to fight (I guess the exception is the new COs). I feel strongly about my country, but it is more about the idea of my country, not the government. By that I mean that if our country ever tried to ally with Serbia, I would no longer fight for her.

I don't think it's true. Most of the time I fight for Croatia and her allies. Of course, I'm a rl New Zealander that lives in the USA, so I fight for her too. Other than that, I do my 25 bazooka hits for non allies just to get the medal. That's what I do... I can't speak for the other tanks.

Yes, the idea I have, is that many are actually mercenaries, at least that's heard here.
I do not know if it's true, at least most know that there is a battle of one or another country you usually hire certain MU's called mercenaries to fight in that particular battle.
Also has individual cases, only one or another player in who is hired to help this or that battle through payment supplies, CC's payment, plus take advantage of the CO if any.

Mercenaries? Hmm... my nick is keyser_slo... people have told me a few times that I should change it to keyser_srb... I have been a serbian citizen since ever... after the bonuses were introduced. I needed a strong bonus country to evolve my economy and since we were like brothers, I decided to apply for their citizenship. Now I'm fortunate enough to be able to give Serbia something back... damage... surely I like the true patriot medal too... 🙂
Other than that, yeah in a way we are mercenaries ... everybody likes gold, right? About my native country Slovenia... sometimes I would like to have a double citizenship if you know what I mean 🙂
I wanted the TOP fighter medal too... It is damn expensive so hitting for your CS country is smart because of the TP medal - you get some of the spent resources back in a way... I got my first TF medal just yesterday so... jeeeey 🙂




QUESTION: How are you organized in your MU? In addition to game messages and chat do you use SMS, FB and/or other tools to get the directives or to warn of a night attack?

I'm not involved in the organization of my MU at all. I barely play anymore as I'm focusing on work and making money (to replenish what I spent on this game). I do use IRC and TeamSpeak to chat with people all over, but other than that I get PM's from my MU Commander when we are expecting a huge battle and I make sure that I show up to push the wall in times of need! My MU Commander Zdlemmy1 is a military genius as far as this game goes, and I have the privilege of being in his MU.

In our MU, we mainly use Whatsapp, for the simple reason that it is easier and faster to communicate between us. We also have an IRC channel where we coordinate our stuck. The good thing is that my colleagues understand much about this game on the military side, that is, you need not go on for hours explaining where and why to fight. A look at existing campaigns to let everyone know what you have to do...

I'm in a slovenian military unit, Slovenska kopenska vojska (SKV)... I don't remember when and why I joined it but we have a rizon chat where we gather and do some e-rep small talk, small talk in general and stuff... at about 21 zulu CET the commander gives everybody a few tanks and than we choose a battle where we hit together... there is not a lot of us, 20 – give or take a few... not a lot that is why I like it... we know each other and it is not a lot crowded... 🙂
When Slovenia is under attack (usually under Croatian attack), there is understandably more people online but it is still manageable... we are a bunch of easy e-rep players having fun... If there was no SKV guys, I don't know if I would still be playing... probably not... we keep each others spitits up when things go bad in e-rep or in real life... 🙂

I have no great strategy experience to respond since this time, I find myself leading a small MU, with only 5 players, mostly friends (beginners), without us having to follow special tactics or strategy, unless the placement of DO in a given battle, thus following the orders of the Gov and the MoD (Portugal).
Despite being away in this moment, the MU I consider my home, is the FAP (Armed Forces of Portugal).
I left for a while to understand the mechanisms of the game on the skin of a Commander, and the tools that he has, but always with the idea one day return home (FAP), and join the group of players with whom I identify.
Many other MU's who invited me to join and be part of, but abdicated, having in mind to return to FAP, any day.
MU's I know and that I recommend to anyone who wants to have an interesting experience:
- FAP (my house, which despite being a state MU of Portugal, has a spirit hard to describe in words, but I suspect this is what I'm talking about: p)
- MEK (a mercenary MU experienced players in the game and willing to help where possible)
- LUP (one MU developed to support newcomers, and well, but which houses players of all Div's, so that with their experience can help novices to learn the game and evolve)
- S.U.R. (One MU Argentina, which has spectacular players, I can only praise)

I have been very pleased to know and let you know of the Top 5 players of eRepublik, five big tangs, to use the common slang.
First of all I would like to thank IDEIAS , John Largo, keyser_slo , Trico , X2damnfiZ for their willingness and openness .
I would like to say a few words about the answers.
• From the point of view of the big tanks the recent reformulation of the Divisions is logical. In fact, by putting ourselves in their shoes , we would think so .
• The advice that all new players gave to us is to have consistency in the training. Nothing new, you can say, but if also tanks say that, perhaps we really need to do so.
• The opinions are divided on the fact that many Top players are mercenaries , ranging from ' I also think so ' to ' I do not think it's true ' . Maybe we need to agree upon what are mercenaries . In my opinion merecenaries are the ones who fight in exchange of money for countries outside their own and their own alliance . It’s unimportant if they can barely afford to pay their weapons and bars.
• Finally, I must say that they did’nt tell us much about the operatio of the MUs. But, speaking with the words of John Largo : 'We're Marines and we do not reveal our secrets' .
