The Time Has Come

"The time has come," the Walrus said, "to talk of many things
Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings,
and why the sea is boiling hot and whether pigs have wings."

For the past three hours, I've been sitting in front of a blank wordpad document, agonizing over what to write here. So many things passed through my mind. So many reasons, so many arguments, so many counterarguments. In the end, though, it's simple.

As of today, I will be leaving AMP for the Feds.

Paul waits anxiously for me to run off with him and the Doctor

I've loved my time in AMP. I love my e-family, I loved my time doing radio, and I loved the three months I spent as Media Director (except for whipping for articles. That sucked. Seriously). Dr Luis was my mentor, sort of my Yoda (thanks, Free Area, for the great comparison), and helped me make a name for myself in this game. Blondeninja provided tech help and a perfect outlet for girl talks. She even set up my "office" channel for me. (No, don't try to join, I've got akick :3). And, my current namesake, John Killah. Always there to cheer me up, make me feel happy on days that I'm hating life, and help me tell the people on eRep that piss me off to go f*#k themselves.

So, this isn't easy. But, I feel it's necessary. For a couple months now I've been debating the move... but before I could do anything, Free Area showed himself as a sleeper agent. AMP was potentially crumbling around me, and I felt obligated to stick by the party that had made me who I am in this game to help build ourselves back up.

Sarah continues to act as if nothing is wrong...

But now... John Killah is Party President. We've won back our party, and given the AFA a huge hit by taking over their party ourselves. JK has taken over doing the weekly srs bsns AMPR shows, while I've sat back and let my responsibilities lapse. I've let the ties that held me there dissolve naturally, and now I'm ready to make the leap.

I'm sorry to my former party-mates. You're still my family. I hope you don't see this as a betrayal, but a chance to spread some of the awesomeness you instilled in me into another party.

The Toga Party is not over - just changing headquarters.

Sarah Killah, signing off as host of AMPR for the last time

"The time has come," the Toga said, "To talk of many things
Of parties, pride, and horniness, of family and things,
and Sarah's forum access change, and what the FEDs will bring."
