The Real Harmful Choice for America

Day 1,622, 10:32 Published in USA USA by Mattoze5

Hello everyone,
It's time for another Sweet Vindication 😉

Based on another article that described “congressional all-stars”, it has come to my attention that Weezly, Oblige, Alias Vision, Edward LoCo, M1TRO, and t0b1 are all originally considered to be “harmful choices for America”. Now I can’t speak for all of these candidates but I can speak for at least 3 of them, and let me tell you who the real harmful choice for America is:

It’s not the people mentioned above; believe it or not even Oblige’s actions could not possibly overcome the kind of wrongful actions I am about to describe: the kind of behavior that was used to write the article in the first place. I’ve heard all the excuses too: “telling it like it is,” “It’ll make them perform their job better in the future,” “Not denying it was subjective, but good analysis.” But the honest to God truth is that writing, and, even worse, supporting articles like this, truly harms America. Now I’ll admit that with the few exceptional mistakes/errors the analysis provided in the article was fine, in fact it was actually quite good, but the bolded labeling that followed was inexcusable. And to proceed to name people who should have won instead, demeaning the current winners, was just outright un-called-for. It enhances exactly the kind of elitist, disrespectful behaviors that so many of us are trying to remove or expel from this eCountry.

Instead of out-casting the unknown, we should be welcoming them; instead of pointing fingers at the people who make mistakes, we should be helping them; instead of judging the newcomers before they’ve had a chance, we should be positively encouraging them. I can honestly say that was not the goal of the “congressional all-stars” article. In fact that the only real all-stars of that article were the ones who stood up for themselves and fought back, in the comments section, the hideous remarks.

David Wilson and the many people who liked his article, whether intentional or not, did not remember that it was the person behind the keyboard who counts most.
The only question now is, will you?

God Bless America,
Mattoze5
