Dear Readers,
Today, I present you my government for the upcoming month of October. I will also answer all of your questions and remarks you sent in. If it happens that, after you have seen my government, you suddenly come up with another question or remark than you can still ask them. I will answer those questions and remarks in my voting article that will come on election day.
The Government
The government of NoTie IV has almost been copied. A few changes have been made though.

I have chosen NoTie112 as my Vice-President, because I know he is online most of the times when I can not be there. I have some pretty busy days in the week and then it is very relaxing to know that you have an active Vice-President that can take charge when needed.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs team contains 2 very experienced ministers, and one already experienced state secretary. Jordic has experience on this area, but a bit less. That is of course no problem as he can learn lots of things from 3 very experienced people.
The MoFA team has a very important task to do! They have as main goal to maintain and improve relations between our country and the (Pro-)Sirius and NSPP nations. In war times they have to work together with the MoD to ensure no problems occur.

The Ministry of Defence team is not very different, except that I wanted to give SpirTus the opportunity this time to run the Ministry by himself. Of course Kaczyk is there to support him whenever SpirTus needs help. DAF will again be under command of Walhallah, ElGorro and Weekstrom they have done a great job leading our national Military Unit previous month(s) and I don’t want to change that!
The MoD will work together with the MoFA team in war times, in peace times they have to find other ways to keep the stronger citizens busy with fighting.
MoHA: Garmr
Garmr needs no explanation. His Gastapo will go on with guarding our borders!
MoF: Trannsvaal
vMoF: Aries Prime
Trannsvaal and Aries Prime; both already have lots of experience in the business. Though together they may not work efficiently therefore they work on separate things in the Finance department. Guarding, maintaining and using the national treasury is of course what they have to do!
MoR&C: The Valeyard

The Ministry of Recruitment & Coaching has lots of things to do. They have to ask some new citizens for feedback on us helping them and change our recruitment ways when needed. Also together with the whole government they have to encourage our citizens to organize fun activities in our community to not let the new citizens get bored from only training!

I am not going through my advisors all individually, they are all very experienced in different ways therefore they are very much needed in my government.

I have seen Joshinius participating in our community for a while now and I asked him to join my government as a recruit to see if he likes a government job for in the future.
Questions and Remarks
LauraAndreea proposed an idea to organise some sort of an IRC meeting with our citizens, they can propose ideas to the government themselves. I'm not sure how an IRC meeting will run, but we can always run a test meeting, if that fails we can use an 'idea box' where citizens can comment on articles of the government with ideas!
Trannsvaal proposed an idea to publish an government article with the 'results' of the feedback of our new citizens. This will serve also as an archive for future governments to see what new citizens really need and want.

So, if I counted correctly, your government will consist of 25 people. Dont you think that is a bit much? Did you just give everyone a position who wanted it? Won't that make governing less efficient? Besides that, most of them are much more experienced players than you. Will you be able to manage them?

I counted a few governments (http://www.enetherlands.nl/viewforum.php?f=14) and the governments I counted were around 20, so I don't feel like 25 will be that much of a problem than. If I didn't feel comfortable with that amount of people I wouldn't have done it. But to answer your question: Yes I think the government consists of a large amount of people, but many experienced people in one government isn't a bad thing.
No I didn't give everyone just a position out of nowhere, 90% I contacted myself, some applied for a position themselves.
What exactly will make governing less efficient?
Some indeed are more experienced, that doesn't automatically say I can't manage them I suppose?
A ministry is in principle (and according to our lawbook) led by one single minister.
What happens if Lancer says A, and Arcanic Mindje says B an hour later? One single minister solves the problem of who is right.
I've served several times under both of them as Co-Ministers, my experience tells me that it works fine but I do reckon your concern djirtsdew!

8 advisors is way too much, there is no need to give everybody a position. Only reason to do so is just to get votes or to please everybody and neither is a good reason.

When you ask for advice you seek the person you believe knows most about a certain topic, or the person that is online. I believe Willem has 400 advisors in every eNL citizen although they aren't mentionned in this article.

To be fair though advisors are not part of Government officially, not sure if you want to include DAF with that too, so that would be 11 less people.

The more people you put in your goverment, the less opposition you will face. Smart move 🙂
But i don't think DAF leaders should be in a government, the same as 8(!) advisors.
Just 1 or 2 to help you will be enough, the rest of the active players will give their opinion on your plans anyway.
DAF 'leaders' are not like official members of the government, it is just to show how the state MU will be taken care of.
Just the way it was operated before. No need to mention that...
