The Game of eLife

Day 2,557, 03:47 Published in Pakistan China by dingorider

Have we stopped playing? Have we stopped enjoying?

You might then expect me to say that what was a colourful, energetic and emotional ecommunity has turned into a dull, double clicking cycle of mere existence(including me) but I will not.

Although what is stated above is patrially true, deep down we know this isn't the whole truth. Many remember the reminiscence of glory, struggle and loss but this article is about those that do not.

The world is changing and if a community doesn't change with it they start becoming irrelevant retrobates. I remember a time and I'm sure many others will too when there was a large influx of new citizens. There were weekly articles published on how to progress and tips for the new players. Many of them have turned out to be fine citizens of this fine eNation.

Do you see that anymore? The two problems are the lack of new citizens and our lack of motivation in making this game interesting for them and in turn us. The emedia is the most powerful tool in binding communities together and stopping people from leaving, heck the most important role of emedia should be to entertain because thats the real purpose for you playing the game is it not?

Life is too short for double clicking cycles so treasure every moment of this game and don't take it for granted, and it is our duty as eCitizens to make this game worth our while and time. Many may have conflicting ideas on how to do that but who cares.

Do the best you can, you don't even need to know what I exactly mean by the above question just do something!.
