TGN-Tutorial on different ministries

Day 2,492, 06:53 Published in Japan Japan by Sinon

Hello everyone!

I figured I would write a small tutorial of different ministries (that I know) and what they do.

The ministries I will be covering are:
-MoD
-MoFA
-MoF
-MoI
-MoPR/MoI
-MoCH/MoHA
-MoE

Ministry of Defence (MoD)
This ministry is handling everything that has to do with the nations warfare/battle strategy/tactics and daily public orders. Their job is to ensure the safety of their nation, while organizing the MUs and giving daily orders/priorities to ensure that their nation is working at its best.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)
Contrary to the MoD, which handles the military, the MoFA is responsible for any nation to nation-communication. Their job is to improve the relations and create alliances with other countries, inform their allies about their nations situation and discuss any war-declaration and truce/NAP with the MoFA of other nations.

Ministry of Finance (MoF)
I guess it says itself. The Ministry of Finance is responsible for the National Treasury. They are to make sure that their nation doesn't spend too much money and end up bankrupt.

Ministry of Immigration (MoI)
This is what MoI usually stands for, though in eJapan it currently stands for "Ministry of Information". Anyway, several nations have a MoI to ensure that all citizenship-applications are handled correctly. While many nations don't care much about what kind of players they accept into their society, some have very strict rules to defend themselves against those known for having bad intentions.

Ministry of Public Relations/Ministry of Information (MoPR/MoI)
Basically the same as the Ministry of Information, the MoPR is responsible for ensuring that the citizens are kept informed and that the communication between the government and the people are kept at a satisfied level.

Ministry of Culture and History/Ministry of Home and Affairs (MoCH/MoHA)
Like with the MoPR/MoI, the MoCH and MoHA are more or less the same, just originating from different nations. These ministries have the responsibility of making sure that the nation has some activities going on for the citizens and keep the traditions within the nation active. They also release articles about the RL country and its local traditions and culture.

Ministry of Education (MoE)
This ministry is responsible for helping new players understand the basics of the game and get themselves integrated in the community. There are several ways that the MoE can operate, however the most common is through articles released to the public. They also focus differently, depending on nations and the ministers themselves, like the current MoE in eJapan is focusing more on educating about RL Japan, than writing articles about the basics of eRep.

I hope you found this article helpful!
