New Tax Regime
The Lazocrat congress members have unilaterally decided to raise ALL taxes to the maximum. There has been no discussion. There has been no reasoning. They merely issue orders and all South Africa must fall in line regardless of common sense or consequences.

I oppose these laws not because of their source, but rather because of their effects. Raising all our raw import taxes means that we no longer will have access to cheap imports to keep our markets even. The way around this is to simply buy in another country.

The raising of the minimum wage kills new players. I can imagine that the reason for this is because eRepublik isn't diing fast enough for the Lazocrats and they see the need to hurry it along. I recommend that all company owners list the maximum jobs they have at a tolerable wage (taking into account the new taxes). Already listed jobs will not be affected by the new minimum wage. Once these run out, we should be ready with our alternate rescue plan to keep our local economy from reverting to a wasteland.

The raising of the work tax affects us all. However, this time there will be no rebates since 80% of the money will go directly to Argentina anyway. We cannot keep pace between the self-enriching proposals of the pirates and the new colonial levies Admin introduced into eRepublik. There is no solution other than changing citizenship or simply not manager working.

Do the Lazocrats deserve to be called PTOers?
The Lazocrats repeatedly ask me to have you, the people of South Africa, recant that they are PTOers. They have repeatedly asked for an apology for all the insults issued about their lack of individuality, inability to participate in the media or national discourse.

I counter that the last 5 laws they have forced through prove every accusations true. I counter that their refusal to debate or even justify their actions reinforces all the perceptions. The proof is in the pudding.

PTOers enrich themselves to the detriment of a country. Check.
PTOers kill citizens to cement their power. Check.
PTOers protest their innocence while confirming all opinions in their actions. Check.

Complicit Argentina and Asteria
The Lazocrats have loyalty to themselves first and then to Serbia. Expect all out Sirius MPPs to expire and to be replaced with nothing. If they are really dumb, then we will get an Argentine MPP. You see, South Africa having any Asteria MPPs does not suit Argentina. Who can blame them for not trusting the Lazocrats enough to blow costly MPPs when our regions get liberated? Expect all fights to require moving.

Struggle
The struggle has moved from politics to active resistance. It will not be easy and it will take time. Get ready for the long haul and remember to take strength in each other. We have beaten worse.
