We have seen Indiana for such a long time in the Spanish hands. This can't continue. The people want to know who is responsable for this...why the politicians don't open a resistance to get Indiana back? USA is much stronger than Spain and can get Indiana whenever it wants. Indiana should be blue again, the same as the most American regions. Start the resistance against SpaiN. usa will win with no doubt.

besides getting the elections to be actually fair, what is hard about this game? You have elites hiding behind there political parties with there flunkies who rarely even visit the game but set up permanent camp in party forums making any political reform nearly impossible.

kh: i'm embarrassed to say that i forgot all about IN. fortunately, it doesn't matter because i'm not in charge of anything.
I'm surprised no member of the fascist elite has addressed this yet.
1) Indiana takes $10,000 to liberate - tax money, if it's done by the government - for no added bonus. We have more than 50 regions (aka more congressional opportunities than normal, not less George), so adding it would just place more stress on getting blockers. Indiana's resource is also a repeat resource, Grain.
2) We are actually coming up with more devious and strategic ways to use Indiana's occupation on the forum. I won't link directly to it since I don't think they know about it yet, but it's in Military Discussion.
3) Freeing Indiana would have to be done on Spanish soil, which would cost money to move the Armed Forces to fight there. If the Spanish fight back (which they probably will since they can do it from home), we'll be robbing our own invasion campaign and our allies of important influence.
It all comes down to risk/reward, and the risk far outweighs the reward at this point.
