Spoland: True Brotherhood

NB: I'm re-releasing this article with a tiny bit cut off the top. The original article got deleted when it was on 258 votes for 'vulgarity'. To put it another way, haters gonna hate. I'm publishing it again to celebrate the Spolish brotherhood and our epic victory together. Hopefully it can get more this time.

I am neither Polish nor Spanish. I am British in real life, and cannot speak a word of Polish and only a very little Spanish.

Despite this I’m happy to currently be residing in Poland, one half of the brotherhood affectionately named ‘Spoland’.

Many countries claim to be a brotherhood and to support each other. An example of this claim is Eden which claims to be a brotherhood. Perhaps it is, but it’s not a brotherhood where they treat each other with respect or support each other equally.

There aren’t many countries I can say I really like in this game. I’m fed up with the PTO’s and the multis of the Balkan nations.

Despite this Poland and Spain are two of my favourite countries in this game. Poland has frequently shown mercy to smaller nations such as France and Germany, time and time again trusting them in the form of peace deals which they have time and time again violated.

Spain managed to make its peace with their long warring enemies in Brazil and the USA. They have attempted to reach peace with Portugal in the past, they have treated Venezuela fairly in claiming resources from her, in return giving her the protection she needs.

Again today Spain made a call for help, and again today Poland answered.

At a point this battle looked like it would be lost with Colombia points ahead. The result:

No doubt Spain wouldn’t have won such a close battle without help from other allies, but without Poland this battle wouldn’t have even gotten close.

I may not be a Pole or a Spaniard in real life, but I write this article to say that ‘I’m proud to be Spolish.’

Hail Poland!
Hail Spain!
HAIL SPOLAND!
