Some Revamping

Day 2,077, 12:02 Published in South Africa South Africa by Wilpanzer

It seems that our concentration has shifted so much to criticizing and attempting impeachments that we have neglected not only duty towards our own welfare, but also the welfare of the newer players.

Recently I asked myself why I have been despising eSA more than anything else. From the outside the community seems divided and ungrateful, but it never fully used to be so. Yes, congress has for years been very passive, Brazil has been a disliked neighbor since the start and there has always been manipulative players, but we used to see each other as fellow citizens and not e-terrorists.

Embedded deep in our community is a desire to have fun and to enjoy our delusional, but extremely fun lives as e-citizens. This is our playground. This is our South Africa. Our country which resides on a server - administrated by headless chickens.

I have therefore decided to be a constructive player. It is harder to be a constructive player with the game virtually broken, but eRep has delivered unparalleled enjoyability. eRep clones simply don't match up.

I am contemplating revamping the New Player Program:

Basics:
- Provide supplies
- MU mentor system or track new players via egov
- Internship in various government departments

Additions:(Will be updated)
Economize Program liaised with the Minister of Finance to help new players utilize their gold and currency as effectively as possible. May be linked with STR program later on. The program will also help players make the best management choices with regards to their own companies.

Perhaps when the economic model gets fixed we can efficiently run something like SAWGO again. However, officials have spoken about direct subsidization to citizens so there's hope!

As these projects fail quite easily I will personally fund the program for its initial phase. No need to waste other people's money and supplies. 😉

Any queries can be posted here or PM'ed.

So...
let's build!
