So, you’re thinking about switching to The Feds?

Can’t say I blame you, what with all the drama and merging and failing going on. For the last year, The Federalist Party has impressed the nation through our hard work, great ideas and dedication to the country above all else and we now sit as the most stable and established party in the Top 5. However, for experienced players considering joining our team, there are some things you need to know.

1. No one joins The Federalist Party in a leadership position.

The Federalists are a meritocracy. From the day people join The Feds, they have many opportunities to volunteer their time and talents to the party. Motivated, hardworking people are recognized and rewarded with higher party positions. It doesn’t really matter to us whether you used to be a Party President or even President of the United States, everyone starts at the bottom. How quickly you advance is up to you.

2. Party experience is required before you can represent us in Congress.

There are many security reasons for this rule, but it was initially put into place to give all of our members a fair shot. As most people know, The Federalists don’t run candidates in every single region. We expect a lot out of our Congressmen and work hard to get them elected. Because we limit the number of seats we go for, we have standards in place to help us determine who is most deserving of a shot at Congress. Those who have served the party well have proven they not only work hard, but they work well as a team. We feel those qualities are good things to have in a Congressman. Also, people have a nasty habit of becoming less active in their party once they move up to Congress. By requiring candidates to invest time and energy into the party before they can run, they are more likely to stay connected to the party upon winning. It’s a better deal for everyone.

3. The Federalists are newb-centric.

In our opinion, the function of a political party has more to do with newbs than anyone. Nearly all of our programs are focused on getting brand new citizens up to speed and ready to kick ass. We give them countless opportunities to move up in the ranks and support their advancement through the game, no matter what they choose to do. Because we are constantly thinking of the ‘next generation’ we don’t hang on to party leaders for no reason. There is no executive board or elder panel or any such thing in the Federalists. You are relevant to the Party as long as you work for/are involved with the Party. History is for Wikipedia, so if you are an older player that wants to continue having influence, you must continue to work for it.

4. We’re a “political” party with no real political platform.

Federalists view parties as small government. As such, we leave the political opinions to our members who happen to be politically inclined. Our party is more about function and service... but that doesn’t mean we don’t stand for anything. There are two main principles upon which the Federalist Party has been founded and continues to uphold- First and foremost, we’re nationalists. We love America hard, and ‘in that way.’ Regardless of who we endorse at elections, we always stand ready to serve our President and his Administration. Secondly, we believe political parties are responsible for anyone who represents them either as a party official, congressman, candidate or blocker. No excuses.

I could go on, but that’s really the root of it. Using those two things as a basis for everything we do, our party has grown significantly in numbers, strength, activity and influence. We have worked hard to institute federalism into the eUS, and we have been largely successful. But, while it is great to see other parties joining us in the fight for a more responsible way of doing things, there are still plenty of worthless people out there and parties that don’t care enough about their members to have standards.

Please join us, but realize that by doing so you are declaring war on the selfishness, paranoia and laziness that plague this nation. Is that a fight you’re ready for?
