So I got a new hat...

...it says "Irish Army Commander" on it.

I don't like hats, and I didn't want this one. But I plan on doing my best until someone takes a swing at me with a rolled-up newspaper and says "NO! Bad Shytach!" and makes me give it away to someone else.

Now, because I didn't want this, I was completely clueless a bit uninformed about what it is I am supposed to be doing aside from sitting here pretending to be competent.

I mean, look at all this:

That is a lot of things I don't understand how to use. I know I can pay you to shoot people (fun times), though the actual logic that goes into understanding how it works might melt my brain.


I can (apparently) limit who joins the MU as though people are joining instead of leaving for more active MUs.


I know how this bit works from when I was just a little second Commander, making super sexy uniforms for everyone and letting Poh (Mr. Tayto to you) do all the thinking. real important work. So far, I seem to be 1 for 3 on these buttons.


I understand what this part does, but I think I might not muck about with it without consulting the people in charge of deciding who Ireland as a whole should be shooting if only DoD kept up with orders like it used to do. I wonder if I get partial credit for understanding this part...


All things considered, this is a spiffy hat that gives me all kinds of new buttons to play with. And, of course, the spiffy hat. Which I won't actually wear. I just hope no one expects anything too much from me, since this was dropped on my head (pun intended) with no warning.
