RGR Endorses Adding Georgia
Ronald Gipper Reagan
I want to encourage everyone voting for new countries to be added to cast their votes for Georgia. There was once enough Georgians in our party here to justify them having a Congressman, and the once sizable Georgian community has dwindled over time in eRepublik as Plato refused to add their country. This is a country which has one of the oldest Christian communities in the world and has many good people who deserve your support.
To avoid confusion for you elitists, the Republic of Georgia is NOT the same as the state of Georgia, as I know you guys tend to not understand that. 😉

I voted Iceland, but there's half a dozen countries I wouldn't mind seeing added, Georgia being one of them. Good luck o7
Too bad nobody cares what you think.
Isn't Georgia a Russian province by now?
Do you think this game is just Christian Mingle? Separation of Church and Game FTW.
Christians tend to be less fanatic than the Hindu or Muslims.
While I support eradication of all religion, I always prefer religions with saner and less intrusive followers to the other ones. It is always good not to get killed for not following the "right" religion. And also not to get bored to death by people trying to make you believe their God exists or something similar.
"Christians tend to be less fanatic than the Hindu or Muslims."
So... Giordano Bruno, Gallileo, The Inquisition, the Protestant Revolution, the Witch Burnings, the Support of Hitler under Leo XI, bombing abortion clinics, discriminating against blacks, gays, and all people who aren't Christian. Those things just never happened?
I agree. I'm talking about "today". Christians are the worst oppressors in human history.
Yeah, they went through their brutal period about 1000-500 years ago. Mostly because they could. There were no state powers to overrule their authority due to the collapse of Rome and the subsequent localization of Western Europe. Islam however, is still reeling from the collapse of the Byzantine empire, and all the state powers in the region have grown up around the notion of a theocracy.
Once the impractical nature of theocracies is realized, the region will likely pacify in the way Europe did during the Age of Exploration.
Why would the Byzantine Empire leave Islam reeling? It was a Christian Empire that Muslims destroyed.
Also, I have no idea why Pope Leo XI supported Hitler, as Hitler as an anti-christian.
"As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice."- Adolf Hitler
"I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator."- Adolf Hitler
"I go the way that Providence dictates with the assurance of a sleepwalker."- Adolf Hitler
"Who says I am not under the special protection of God?"- Adolf Hitler
All this from a single Google search. It's all public information.
There is also the inscription of "God Mit Uns" or "God With Us" on Nazi belt buckles, the persecution of gays, atheists, as well as the persecution of non-ideologically christian scientists like Einstein.
Yes, that's all true. He was a ruler of Germany which was, for the most part, a Christian country. But, he himself didn't follow Christianity and sought to destroy it. It was one of the smarter moves on his side not to seek war against all enemies at once. His enemies were capitalism, communism, religion and everybody that disagrees with his ideas, of course.
"he himself didn't follow Christianity and sought to destroy it" Maybe some evidence of this? Actions speak louder than words, but both his actions and his words contradict the claim you make.
For example, here's the article from NY Times:
http://www.nytimes.com/2002/01/13/weekinreview/word-for-word-case-against-nazis-hitler-s-forces-planned-destroy-german.html?pagewanted=all
I generally thought that was a common knowledge that didn't require references. Hitler viewed Christianity (or any other religion) as an absurd set of lies meant to keep the people in line with which I completely agree.

Fair enough. Upon reading this, I would conclude that Hitler made an alliance of convenience with the church, not one of religious agreement. Going back to the Pope Leo XI thing, he supported Hitler likely to protect German Catholics from active persecution.
denigrating your readers is a cool way to convince them.
I believe Armenia is older christian country than Georgia, but both are a good choice.
You are right, Armenia converted in 301AD where Georgia converted in 337AD.
Armenia doesn't stand a chance. Cuba is pretty much a lock, and Ecuador and Georgia are jockeying for #2.
Yes, I agree. Georgia and Ecuador will be #2. One of them, at least.
