Reviving the Forums!

Hey,

The eRepublik India Forums has been dead for nearly a year now. So i am looking at reviving the forums.

Why Forums?

1. Its almost permanent, unlike IRC and Messages, the discussions remain until deleted and can be access controlled.

2. No limit on number of people included in the discussion, unlike message threads, forums do not have a limit on number of people which can participate in a discussion.

3. More organized form of discussion, rather than having one common thread due to restrictions set by eRepublik.

Im looking forward to suggestions in order to improve the forums

You can add some quiz where winners can get weapons.You can add virtual points to the forum.

1 post = 1 point
Login every day (7 days) = 10 points
Open new thread = 3 points
etc.

Example :
5 points users can exchange for 20 Q5 food
10 points users can exchange for 5 Q7 weapons
100 points users can exchange for 500 Q5 food and 50 Q7 Weapons.

You can sell ads on forum (for articles,party banners,cp candidates etc.) and with that money you can buy food and weapons for rewards.

Democratic Party is ready to help,and we will give you food & weapons every week.

Who pays/paid for the server space of the forums?

A revival of the Forum would be terrific. It is easier to maintain conversations over the long term. With IRC, you have to be present over a period of time in a smaller window to have a conversation. In the forum, you can post, leave, wait for a response, and post again in the future.

With different boards, it is also easier to find those topics that are of the most interest to you.
