Return!

Day 1,738, 07:34 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Lord Lewis Cromwell

Greetings again, everyone!

This month I have had a well-earned holiday where I spent a month in Sweden showing my Swedish friends how a British Lord likes to party (and party hard!), now I am back, refreshed and ready to serve once more! While away I managed to maintain activity for Erepublik and our forums as I would hate to lose track of goings-on and so feel no shame in running for Congress now as I, as always, have the qualities we need to promote amongst our few capable people.

Being of the middle-ground between the old-bastards and new-clueless, I really can bridge that gap which severely handicaps our e-nation and in the coming months will be more active in running for leadership roles, taking on responsibilities, displaying my potential as a superstar for eUK and getting my voice heard. Hopefully, as I have shown in the past, this term's Congress can come some way towards showing how valuable I can be to our e-country and team if let loose with some votes and support.

Will alone, however, cannot win victories. I am patient, strong and dedicated, I have led hundreds of people to hundreds of different (sometimes very personal) victories in my life and without further mentioning RL success have held positions in every branch of our e-government rather quietly and observantly in order to get the necessary insight to the inner workings as well as maintaining a sense of impartiality required to see what changes could and should be made for a more effective, efficient process.

How does this help Congress?

I've served Congress before very successfully, in times of both war and peace. We need a Congress that is active, knowledgable and un-afraid to vote "No". So often we vote in Congressmen who naturally click "Yes" to anything proposed, or "No" because that is the majority vote at the time. Congressmen who do not propose anything in their term and do nothing, Congress who get their medal then forget their position. This is not just a problem with eUK but with the game itself and even translates into real life.

We can change this in our nation by voting for the mature, the dedicated and the unselfish: you know who that means. My very name provokes change! By doing this we make our nation a little stronger, strength is appealling, high appeal will urge the unsure around the e-world that we are a great country and worthy of high regard and the ball rolls on from there. I support ESO entirely when we say "Every Single One!" and I am a strong one, every one counts for the greater good of our nation so make your one vote count when I run for these elections this week and in the future!

Make it count!
