I saw the deeply saddening news today that one of our former brothers-in-arms in the eUSA, Lord Haldir, who also went by the name Dalibor M has died after suffering from throat cancer. He was one of the most vocal proponents of our cause during his time here, and his presence was deeply missed. I regret we had not spoken more frequently since things turned sour in the eUS because I always thought of him as a very important member of our movement here. He was also quite enthusiastic, and had that great Serbian sense of humor which I always found so refreshing. From what I have seen from him and from what others who knew him better have said, I can say that eRep and humanity have lost someone whose character is of the highest caliber. I did not know him as well as some other compatriots from this game, but I can say he was a person of honor, and I can only hope he is in a better place than this world.

It pains me to read an article announcing the passing of a fellow eRepper. Though I only barely knew him, I now feel that it was my loss that I had not taken the time to get to know him better.
