PTO Threat Updates...
HebronGazelle
ATO actions have been in full swing in the past week, after noticing that both UKPP and ESO had been PTOed. We now believe the PTO group, The Shoe People, are behind the attack but we still can not be sure who is helping them and who is helping us. The article will just update you on the situation.
Going to Schedule
17th: Try to spread this information to your friends - knowledge is power. Write or share articles to get the message out.
18th-21st: Messaging of UKPP and the eUK must take place, people should be encouraged to leave UKPP in favour of WRP so to make the gap between the parties smaller.
22nd - 23r
😛Begin moving parties, move to WRP to try and get them to 5th place.
24th (Congress Nominations lock in): Ideally by now UKPP should be 6th on the party rankings, and so will not run Congressmen in this months elections. Well done, you have prevented a PTO.
25th: Vote for your Congressmen, if we have been unable to move UKPP out of the top 5, be very careful of your vote.
26th: Return back to your respective parties and feel proud of what you have achieved.
15th (April): Help UKPP/ESO take back their parties from PTO agents.
I stole that from Mr Woldy's article published a week ago, so everyone thank him. As you can see, we were meant to spread the information to everyone in our party then move out of UKPP/ESO to push WRP up into the top 5. This has now been successfully completed, and the Congress elections should be safe from PTO threats. The battle is not over, and wont be over for some time, CP and PP elections still remain threatening to the country.
Enjoying the view WRP?
So what will happen during the CP election? Personally, I believe the CP election will be quite safe. As far as we know the PTO group does not have enough people in the country to win the election, but that was said before the PP elections too! Ideally, we don't want every party to run their own candidate so that votes aren't split up too much, however nobody should worry as the election should pass without problems.
Then it comes back to the PP elections on the 15th, where every party is at risk. What will (hopefully) be happening is each party will run a primary election through trusted members of the party so there is one main candidate in each PP election. Obviously this will cause some controversy with some. People will argue there is less democracy, and some people will end up being excluded from the vote. Hopefully, the PP's of each party can find the best solution but a primary vote is could be necessary to keep each party safe.
UKPP ATO
So what has been going on? And what will go on in the future? So far, around 40 members (its meant to be 40, but some people don't talk) of UKPP have been working together to find both solutions and the people behind the PTO. High members of UKPP have been cooperating with leaders of other parties to help wih the ATO, and we are running under WRP tomorrow. UKPP and ex-UKPP members should vote for WRP, everyone else can do what you want (vote WRP if you want).
What the Vuk! Go away...
We have found some people in the party who are possibly PTOers, and others that are multi's. Myself and Tangbod have been watching members of the party. We managed to get the admins to ban 12 multi accounts not long after the PP election, 3 more were banned around the 21st and at least 2 more are being watched. These multi's were being used to boost up party numbers and is a common tactic among PTOers. With around 15 multi's banned so far it has greatly reduced the risk. We will also be sharing a list of possible PTOers with certain UKPP members before contacting other parties so make sure they do not suffer an attack later.
UKPP members will be moving on the 26th, so we can reclaim the party. The PP election is important, and the actions mentioned a few paragraphs above are likely to take place. We are currently discussing the best action to take and we can assure you we know what we are doing. Don't worry guys, everything will be alright!

Great article CC, However... very importantly:
Top 5 Parties for Congress is not locked until Daychange to the 25th.
This was changed and is on the wiki page of congress if you want to check.
Vuk01 and his little gang still have time, Lets not get complacent already.
Damn, when did that happen? Either nobody knew or they just didn't feel like telling me...
Yeah I didn't realise until today either, But it was changed a liuttle while back.
So we need to be on the look out late tonight/before day change tomorrow.
As you can see the UKPP Congress list has been edited so they obviously think there is a chance they can run.
Years ago.
UKPP & WRP should just merge. WRP were having no impact on eUK politics before this, so why not help them and UKPP at the same time? It also makes a bigger gap to bridge for any PTO'd parties who want to bump a party up to top 5.
People in small parties should realise that they are achieving nothing. Sorry, the truth hurts. You can have far more effect by having a say in a larger party that can run you for congress, etc. These days the political spectrum doesn't come in to it as much as it used to, but even so, we have pretty much all bases covered within the top 5. This would make PTOing even harder as the PTOers wouldn't be starting from a base of 20+ members and the top 5 would also have some more members, making the gap much larger to the 6th party.
Oh my contempt for you has grown...
This might be why TUP aren't liked sometimes?
Stop trying to control what other parties want, if the WRP and small parties want independence let them have it.
It's a suggestion. Not sure why you would have contempt for me for having an opinion and making a suggestion.
One that I really believe would help both parties and eUK. It has nothing to do with TUP. Arguably, making opposing parties stronger would be bad for TUP but that's really not important if it helps the country!
They don't have to agree but it doesn't mean I shouldn't ever suggest anything!
We aren't controlling you. It's up to you if you want to sit in a small party. I, too, have long suggested WRP merge into a new party and actually get somewhere with a stronger power base.
Okay, fair point. Maybe I got a bit too extreme over it 😃.
But I know from past situations that it would not work. Also, if a top 5 party is taken over wouldn't that mean more members would need to be moved to push that party out?
Small parties are what they are as they want independence, they don't come about and then accept a merge.
Top 5 parties would be more difficult to take over if they were bigger.
I believe the small parties are mistaken. Before I joined TUP (many years ago) I strongly considered whether it was better to be a big part of a small party or a small part of a big party. I'm certain I chose correctly. You can achieve a lot more in a big party and it's never been easier to progress to a high level.
Each to their own.
People in small parties aren't that limited. As long as effort is actually put in.
Dan Moir is right.
We need 5 strong parties, not 10 small social groups that a handful of people can take over.
What is UKPP for?
Asking what any particular party is for is fatuous not everyone is obsessed with politics and trying to control people they just want to have fun and play this game with like minded people in a way they enjoy playing it. This attempted PTO has shown that most people are willing to put their differences aside and work together (even if it means pretending to be a communist for a few days).
This is a make believe country in a fantasy world in a small internet game that is slowly dying on it's arse and trying to dictate to people how they should play and spoiling their enjoyment with constant dramas is a great way to drive even more people out of eUK or the game completely. Looking at our performance in this shield event, despite some amazing individual scores, we already appear to have a country largely populated by inactive players and non fighting multis.
So you play the game the way that you enjoy and let others do the same.
Voted, shouted (soon) & good luck!
always thought, if multies are banned, the main account is banned too. If this is the case, we will get rid of those ...... Hopefully the Admins will do their job.
Good article, voted.
Hehe, if only.
Goku is one of many who still has his main account.
seems they played there hand to early.
If you want a 'small-scale' community, I think DC is one of the perfect expressions of it. MU's in this country is the way to go, and you can cross parties. This would make the top 5 stronger.
