Proposal: Raise the Minimum Wage from 1 ZAR to 42 ZAR
On 1/28, Miyagiyoda proposed that, in the aftermath of Lazokrats passing laws, which congress quickly fixed, we keep the Work Tax at 25% and raise the minimum wage to 42 ZAR. We then allow all certified citizens to claim their tax back from the Minister of Finance. A screenshot of work done is simple enough for the rebate.
This means new multies and illegal citizenship acceptances help subsidise our tax base.
The higher minimum wage means only Q7 companies employ people at a profit which is good for the economy and workers effectively get a reasonable share of the profits in return.
Input Cost
Raws: 14 weapons * 0.06 ZAR * 200 wrm = 168,00 WRM Cost
Labour: 42 ZAR
Total Cost: 210 ZAR
Retail: 14 * 20,00 ZAR - 10% VAT = 252,00 After VAT
Profit: 252,00 - 210,00 = 42 ZAR (16.6% profit)
Congress debated this and after a forum vote, the proposal passed by a vote of 8 to 5, with 1 abstaining.
Any congressman that has not voted in game yet should vote YES.

Marmaduke IV, we need a system that will allow us to submit these screenshots. Perhaps a form where we can post a link to tinypic or printscn.
Another idea would be to have a forum thread where we can post everyday. That allows only certified cits to post
eSA Plus can track all kinds of activity, maybe Al knows of a way for it to log work activity.
Yes bring them to the forums, coupled with regular informative articles. I also would not be surprised if Al can do something like Marma suggests

If you want this to pass ... message all the ppl that will vote according to your lines.
The vote will still not help me if it gets passed as I will not get anything from this. Current dumbass lazo taxes is forcing me to not work my factories but use workers. This ... will force me to quit eSA or beg. I cannot see the beg part happening soon.
Niff, relax. The vote was for Congress members anyway so, even if your access to the forums wasn't limited, you wouldn't have been able to vote. Part of this plan is having our MoF reimburse business owners, so you should be able to get your funds back.
