False accusations? No!


Yesterday a bugabuse was discovered allowing players to access unlimited amounts of gold. Soon an article was written by Balonia accusing PEACE of widely abusing the bug in the previous wars. As a result a lot of citizens from Argentina think that Indonesia used this bug to conquer Pampas and Patagonia. The only real accusation made by Bolonia, the only person he dared to call a cheater, was darkplayer82.




Dear readers,

I’m here to set things straight. I represent my country within PEACE GC and I do not like to be accused of cheating. Propaganda is one thing, it’s meant to make this game fun and use the media section like it’s supposed to. Abusing bugs to get unlimited gold is something different.
First of all I would like to refer everyone to an article written by darkplayer82 explaining how he got his gol😛 He actually pays for the game.

Secondly I want to say that as a representative with full access within PEACE I hadn’t heard of the bug until yesterday when it became widely known. If any PEACE player used the bug it has been an individual act, nothing more nothing less, and the particular person deserves to be punished.

And as a third, I want to ask everyone to take a look at the battle statistics. I have chosen Pampas as an example, it was the battle where the most damage was dealt. To take a closer look at the use of wellness packs I sorted it on the number of fights. Now let’s take a look at the top 20 players when it comes to the number of fights:

I would like more people to actually take a look at these battle statistics, also involving other battles. Take a look at the number of fights, the number of soldiers that actually deal some damage (at least 50+) and average damage.

I wrote this article as a response to blind accusations made by a number of players. There are a lot of cases where I can’t say who cheated. Where you can’t say who cheated. Frankly, I don’t even know if the admins can.
I do not not how long it has been abused, how much and what it’s effects have been. I do not know how much this has influenced eRepublik, whether the game in its current shape is still maintainable or whether there has to be a total reset.


However, there is something I do now. A lot of players see this world as if having two sides:

Black and White
Good and Evil
Wrong and Right
PEACE and Atlantis

Every time a bug appears the other team is to blame. Every time a glitch appears it only favors the other team. Maybe I will write an article on PEACE and Atlantis sometime. But this article is written just to take into consideration before starting to accuse the other team of cheating. Atlantis wasn’t cheating, PEACE GC wasn’t cheating, a number of pitiful and pathetic individuals has been cheating. There are always two sides on a story, and though propaganda is an integrated part of this game, accusing a whole alliance and it’s nations of abusing bugs is wrong.

The future of Erepublik lies in the hands of the admins. I can only ask once more to listen to the voice of the community. I’ve been disappointed by a number of heavy changes in the gameplay, I’ve been disappointed by the sheer number of bugs and their consequences and I’ve been disappointed by the latest edition of the Erepublik insider. Please take your community more serious on occasion!


However, the admins still are the persons who created this great game and I still support them. There’s a lot of articles, complaints and requests I can refer to but I’m just going to link to this as an indicator.
