Greetings again, everyone.
This weekend we have entered what could be viewed as the final stage of this current war on our doorstep. Unable to capitalise on the initiative gained from our victory in the battle for the South East, we ceded to "wiped status" yesterday morning, re-appearing on the map last night following a resistance war our occupiers won for us in order to divide up our resources more evenly amongst them. So, as it stands now, we have one region to call home which we think is going to be attacked soon for Germany to gain another resource bonus, as well as the possibility of victory in the north-west's resistance which could potentially ruin Germany's plans should we succeed there.
While we are in this dire situation, let's prepare for the recovery. Let's show our allies, who have fought hard for us, that even though we are in trouble we are still strong enough to help them. Let's save resources where possible; do not spend energy bars, rockets or even bazookas frivolously as we will need every resource possible for the battles to recover our home soil. Keep active, read information provided to us all and keep yourself up-to-date on the world's events. I believe it would be foolish to immediately attempt a nationwide recovery of our regions, let us bide our time and organise ourselves properly, prepared for when the time comes. Meanwhile we must aid our allies to strengthen their recoverable difficulties and better provide us with possibilites in the future.
Let us also praise the french and german nations themselves. They have shown us why they were worthwhile as our allies for so long, and we must hope we have shown that although now smaller and with problems, we too are a nation of spirited and capable people. Our existing allies know such, their faith in us is priceless. Do not forget that both of these nations are themselves occupied by larger forces without much hope of recovery.
Do not hesitate to speak if you require help with resources during our low-bonus position.
For glory, for UK, and for our people, do not think for a moment that this means true defeat! We'll need to be patient and remain proud now but we can get out of this!

Maybe we can arrange to leave Wales unoccupied for the old friendships sake during congress time. Doesn't hurt both of the occupying powers. I hope that someday your people will once again realize that Loland is the enemy of Europe and not us.

He just made a friendly suggestion inspired - as I believe - by the last stave of LLCs article.
Being attacked by other forces choking down your anger to have a rational view on the situation and even managing to show respect to your enemies thats what true greatness is.
Btw there are some truly inspiring articles writen by konrad neumann in the early days of erep. So whatever you think you are experiencing be aware we had it worse and grew stronger from/(despite of) it.
