Presidential Campaign Announcement

Hello everyone. First off I would like to thank you for reading my article. It has been a long time coming. In three days I will have been playing eRepublik for six years. Six years. Now that is a long time for someone to have been playing a game. Heck some marriages don’t even last that long and I am not talking about those two day celebrity marriages.

So with six years under my belt, (almost) I figured it was about time to take things up a step. I should try to do some more for Ireland. Make a mark as it were.

So I would like to announce that Eire Aonair has nominated me to be our candidate for Taoiseach in the upcoming election.
I would like to thank my fellow EA members for their confidence in me. It means a lot.

Now I won’t go into all the details in this article. The simple reason is I have not worked out all the details yet. I have some ideas I would like to try to get implemented which I think may be good for Ireland and maybe make things a little more fun again.

My main idea is to try to get the Dail a little more involved in the day to day running of Ireland. Make getting elected a Teachta Dála mean something instead of it being a license to argue.

Don’t worry it just means a fundamental change in how we run Ireland. No big deal. 😉
