First of all I wouldlike to thank to the 17 players that entrusted me with them votes.
I do like to know them better, to became the eFriend of them (if not allready) and to know what they are expecting from me, as elected REPRESENTANT of them in the Congress. Please do comment on this or just send me a PM.
Today I would like to talk with you, all of you, about the project I like to call eIndia.
First, I will tell you some personal opinions, perceptions, and after that I do wait you to express yours, so we could create the image of the future we all want.
Comunication
The ingame comunication in eR is neglected by many, ppl preferring to use the chat. Factly, in the eIndia comunity the chat was not, from the beggining very used.
For reasons that elude me, at the begining eIndians created a Forum and prefered to use this chanel of comunication.
Some of them wrotte articles too (beautifull storyes – like Mr.Dee did, game mechanics analysis – like Mav did, and motivational article – like Ashwamed did).
Still, the ingame comunication is not very „apreciated”, how it seems to me, and generally ppl do not like to read articles or conduct debates. On the other hands, this could occure because the lack of public debates and informations (not sure).
For experienced players, using the chat or forum is not a problem but for newcommers ... it is a different story.
Tradition
Genneraly eIndia have been managed by few ppl, not more than 10 persons, who just gave orders and administrate all the resources (ppl, money, raw, so on) through the public institutions, companies, army and so on.
To better show this attitude, after the eItalian PTO, india established the one party sistem (IU), in order to better fight against forreingn PTO-ers (since then, this PTO threat is something that monthly concern the governance and became a reason for list with persons to be voted by the eIndians citizens).
When DPI emerged, thanks to its founding fathers (I will mention here just vigi, Gondun and Naga) a big truble emerged in the eIndian society. This second PP was a threat to the internal security of eIndia ?
However the case, the DPI was a marginal voice in the eIndia society and his members was allowed in the country management just after they get closer to the leading group (let we call it the ellite of eIndia).
So, many of them chose to develop bussines and/or to flee the country (with broken dreams, I presume).
Nowadays
We are in a crisis situation now, existing at the mercy of our neighbours and, the worse, not able to recolect ourselves and to fight back.
Unable to create the so wanted BB and unable to better organize our forces. Is this a curse ?
Our president pointed to the bad habbit (my included) of not participating, of apathy and lack of interess. The lack of acction, remaining to words (sometime I do wonder if we even express ourselves, in words).
Same time, active and dynamic persons (I will mention just Wall Ster) chose to flee the eIndia and look for a better life abroad.
Could we have a project ?
In my opinion things work not because someone chose to make the effort „to do things”, but if a group of persons chose to establish a system that make things workout, by herself.
So, could we be more partycipative at the public life ? Are we interested of the future of eIndia ?
If the answer is yes, then it must came from the eCitizens, not from just few of us.
If the answer in no, then we should not strugle anymore.
This article is not ment to show the miraculous solution, but to provoke a public debate (and I would like to keep it public) in order that you, eIndia citizens, could express what yours expectations are, what you dream about eIndia and what you could do.
Factly, I will do nothing but let you speak (louder if posible) and encourage yours ideas, your expresion.
Of course, I also could involve in certain proposal you express. Also, I could do some myself, but I will not began to strugle just to make things because it is pointless, if you did not participate.

I still wait for the article of the National Bank of eIndia, in order to be asked and instructed where to donate the gold acquiered from the congress medal.
I will not donate it until the article emerge.

Ok, I will keep the gold from medal until someone from the national Bank will explain the procedure and the reasons to all the congressmens.

Maniu, I beg to differ much on the DPI issue, but then its history that I personally don't want to bring up for a whole lot of reasons.
Crux of your article, yes, we need in-game media to be active more. We need Citizens to step up, but hasn't that always been the case? Its only because of the apathy Iseutz mentioned, that it falls on the handful, call them elite, dictators, patriots, whatever you will - who work their butts off. Its also the reason why after a point all those who did work that way lose the zeal to do so, and fizzle away or go out.. David, shail, Ashwamedh, sumit, Brood, Jelly, Arjaa, srachit, Jack, myself, and quite a few others included. I can't speak for all, but I can tell you, each of us at one point or the other has spent like 10-15+ hours everyday on eRep, just to ensure the country still exists on the map.
We've tried to ensure that Citizens do come up, and in democratic ways, supporting many new ideas as and when they've come up. Of course there will be difference of opinions, but ehn one has to work through them like adults, not like immature kids. That's all.
And on that note, just donate the gold already. There's as it is shortage of people. The 'Government' are also players who do the best they can with the limited time and resources they have. The Congress rules have been laid forth quite sometime back, and am happy to see that most people still stick by them. If you have an issue with it, just raise it in forum, and am sure we'll have a healthy debate. But then again its individual choice.
