Join the new world

Hello everyone!

So a few days ago I had released my official article stating that I was intending to run for CP, and that indeed I am. This article will cover the plans that I intend to take on during my term, you all know how important next term is going to be and I intend to have an active government and I need everyone’s support because next month is going to be a crucial time for decision making.

Reinstating the National Committee

A couple months back Per Jostein came up with the idea of a national committee and I would like to see this reinstated with a few modifications of course, everyone knows how close Norway came to a PTO take over during the last congress elections. I don’t want to see this happen again we need to better regulate our country from such dangers and I plan to form this within the next couple days.

"National Committee" will be composed by trustworthy citizens who have proven to be loyal to eNorway in the long run and serve its best interests. This committee should be chosen by the President in the beginning of each term and consist of 3-5 members from any party.

Its tasks are:

1. Act like an election committee and issue statements before Party President, Congress and Presidential elections including warnings

2. Act as an ombudsman for internal issues and conflicts between parties or characters that come into public.


Foreign Affairs, Which Alliance do we seek?

A big topic up for discussion for next term is going to be about alliances, there has already been much discussion about either coalition – Which I’m referring too is the choice between Poland or Serbia. It’s going to be a challenging and intriguing term for our MoFA as well as myself, do we as Norway plan to sit by idly now that global friendships are shifting? Or should we take this opportunity and build upon it? We have the chance now to approach some of these superpowers and that is a goal that myself and our MoFA team will be working towards, I don’t plan to sit by and do nothing, I believe it to be in our best interests that we seek to pursue a pro-Serbian policy, while at the same time we work on reaffirming our position and improving our relations with our other fellow countries around us.

That’s it???? Nothing more??

There are some other plans that I wish to pursue as well, I want to see our MoD active and posting regular articles with fresh new battle orders in correspondence with that of Asgard, I also want to have active representatives within Asgard HQ during this time, as of lately we have been rather inactive there and I would like to see that changed. Something else worth taking note of is that I want to try to get Magnus Barelegs to introduce some more games and activities during my term to get a little more media activity and have something fun to do, of which I will try to fund, he will also be looking after helping our newer players lean about erepublik. Final note is that I promised our fang fisher Morten Asphaug that I would be posting an article trying to get our newbies redirected to him so he can share food with them as he’d like to see some fresh new faces to help out.

Can you sum it up?

In summary of what Im going to be doing next term:

* Pursue an active foreign policy that is pro-Serbian orientated
* Have active representatives within Asgard HQ
* Reinstate the National committee
* Introduce some activities to add some fun within the community
* Make sure there are MoD orders being posted regularly
* Help Morten Asphaug in getting him to distribute food to new players
* That I post articles to keep everyone updated on what’s going on
* Be creative with how to handle situations that will arise.
* That I myself, as well as my cabinet are active!
* That we have a good term and enjoy our time

My Cabinet – Final Febuary cabinet revealed

vCP – Joshua Morriseau – I’ve known you for quite some time now and you have been somewhat of a mentor to myself and a good friend to rely on, I would appreciate your guidance though my adventure for this term

MoD - Indigodavo95 – I asked if you would be willing to fill this spot, you gave me the opportunity to learn this position and I’d like the best qualified guy for it!

vMoD - Bloodtrail – You told me you have never held a political position before so I’m giving you a chance to learn something new, You will work with one of the best MoD guys I know around!

MoFA - bATRA – While I’ve been in gov with you before I have never gotten the chance to really work with you, however I know your quite familiar with this role and I could use someone with your experience in this spot!

MoF – Akashaton – You’re the numbers crunching guy I can rely on and I trust you will do a fine job next term.

MoI – ivan Europe – This is a familiar spot for yourself to work in and you know it good, I hope you can keep our 5 member congress busy 😉

MoE&S – Magnus Barelegs – You will be responsible to helping our younger players learn everything they need to know about how this game works!

MoFF - Morten Asphaug – I asked if you would be interested in being our fang fisher again and you happily accepted, I hope you will have plenty of newbies that you can help out this term!

There you have it folks, that’s what I plan to do for next term, thank you to those who have decided to join my cabinet! I hope we can have an success full term! And Thank you to all those who have read my article.. or at least skimmed through it and remember vote for me!
