One More Time, With Feelin'!

Day 913, 21:01 Published in South Africa South Africa by Stryke Blayde

Need a change of pace in these beginning pictures...

Hello again South Africa

As most of you know, Congress elections are in 4 days. With Limpopo coming back to its original owners, eSouth Africa is now complete, all 9 of eSA's original regions belong with her rightful owners.

This article isn't about eSA regaining her regions, however. This article is about showing why I'd be suitable for Congress. Now, at first, I wasn't sure about running for Congress this term. RL decided to start poking at me, and helping plan out an ATO to help rebirth the NPSA did unfortunately take more time away from me than I had wished. I also didn't want to overdo it and end up having to go through a two-clicking phase for a couple weeks. I want to be here for South Africa, through thick and thin, and I can't do that if I'm two-clicking, it's just not the same. After long and careful debate, I have in fact decided to run for Congress once again, which if I get in would be my 4th term, so I'm a little excited.

Anyways, I'm going to go ahead and post my accomplishments to show you exactly what I've done in my eLife so far. As you'll notice, I'm fairly experienced.

Current Deputy Minister of Information
3x Congressman
Former Party President of the NPSA
Major of the Pretorian Guard 2nd Company

So you're thinking, Why should I vote for this guy? I mean, I know he's been around for awhile, and he's got all of those accomplishments under his belt, but why vote for HIM? I'll say it right now. I enjoy being in Congress. I honestly don't know what it is, be it the other people that get in, the conversations I participate in, the decisions I've helped make, the ideas I've been working on perfecting, but I honestly enjoy it.

The key point in being able to accomplish anything is your experience about it. If you generally enjoy something, you'll tend to want to learn more about, want to help out more with it, participate more. Likewise, if you don't enjoy it, you'll instinctively try to avoid it the best you can, though a lot of time doing it is inevitable. I enjoy the discussions in Congress, and while I didn't have as much time as I thought I would have last term for long, though out responses, I read every last bit of it all, and contributed what I could on a lot of it. I strongly feel I could keep this up this term for sure. Long story short, I enjoy being in Congress, and enjoying it makes it easier, and makes me more willing to perform.

With all of our regions regained, the key point in the military is defense. With that in mind, perhaps the biggest issue in eSA as of now is the economy. With all of our regions regained, we experienced a jumpstart in the economy. I predict this next term will largely revolve around the economy. Even though the economy is not my strong point, and my least favorite point, I'll participate in these discussions with what I know, and I'll be sure people know how I feel about particular subjects.

Anyways, I notice I haven't mentioned where or under what party I'm running under. Currently, I'm running in the Free State region, where I ran and got into Congress my first time. Also, as the NPSA isn't currently a Top 5 party, Bishop-x was kind enough to allow me to run under the PPSA banner. I'm all set, and I'm ready to run for my 4th Congress term.

So the question you have to ask yourself come Congress Elections day is: “Which Free State candidate do I think will do the best job as a Congressman/woman?” The answer, is probably different people. Some people are better than others in certain areas, there's no avoiding it. If you choose Stryke Blayde of Free State, I can assure you you're making a right answer.

Yours truly,
Stryke Blayde
