News and stories from around the eWorld

Day 2,862, 07:29 Published in Australia Australia by Damian Gaby

Hello my dear Aussie friends. I have for you a bit of background and news from the European theater. So let’s get things starte😛

For a long time heavy fighting was taking place in the Balkans between eBulgaria, eGreece and eMKD. They were literally at each other's throats and had been so for a while. Finally a couple of weeks ago a NAP treaty was signed, bringing peace to those lands. This of course freed up the greek, macedonian and bulgarian players to go and fight for friends and allies. So, suddenly, a pretty big military force was available to do damage in other parts of the world. Chile took advantage of this as suddenly bulgarian and macedonian troops were available to help them against the Argentina-Romania couple that had wiped them from the map. Bulgarian and Macedonian troops helped Chile get back on the map and then fought in the Romanian RW’s that were taking place in the Indian and New Zealand regions Romania owned. Bulgaria especially wanted Romania out of India as a payback for Romania kicking Bulgaria out of India in the first place.

Then came the Nemesis attack on Hungary which opened the door for a Romania-Hungary conflict. While this conflict will always have reasons to appear, as I mentioned in my previous article, the MPP stacks that Hungary and Romania both have make this conflict unlikely right now. eHungary especially has very good diplomats which were able to secure MPP’s with not just the Asteria countries but also with ePoland, eFYROM and eUSA. The traditional alliance with eSerbia and Romania’s own alliance with eSerbia makes an eHungary-eRomania conflict less likely as both sides have a lot of common allies and the “Nemesis reason” is not good enough as Nemesis has a reputation for doing things on their own and the Romanian government can’t really be blamed for their actions. However, the animosity between Romania and Hungary is hard to push aside on both camps, and Hungary most definitely now has an open door towards creating an anti-Asteria alliance if she so wishes, with Romania taking the blame for not just pushing Hungary away but also for creating a stronger enemy. It is important to note here that there are two types of politicians in Hungary - the die-hards who want a conflict with Romania above all else and the technocrats who wish to maintain the current status-quo as this is very profitable. Now the technocrats are in power, but we’ll see what happens after the elections. Currently both countries are strategizing with Romania most recently refusing to renew a long standing MPP pact with us for unknown reasons, the official reason being “we are thinking about it and will let you know”. What this means for us is unclear at this stage, but one thing is for sure, Romania feels that renewing the MPP will somehow affect their strategic planning, so we may yet get to see Romanian action in our vicinity.

In South America, a NAP (non aggression pact) has been signed amongst pretty much all the big players in there, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Brazil and Peru. So peace once again reigns supreme. For Chile, an AS (Air Strike) looks like the best way to move forward, but so far it’s been all quiet.

The war between Spain and USA is still raining strong coupled with the war between Spain and France. Spain has won a few regions from France and have recently shifted their NE to France to help in the fight.

Slovenia has also lost almost all her American and English colonies, and as Croatia wanted to AS Switzerland in order to attack France, Slovenia proposed an NE law against Croatia. Negotiations behind closed doors stopped the Croatian AS and turned the Slovenia-Croatia war into a TW (Training War).

That’s about it for now, keep up the good fight!
