Thailand joined with Malaysia to become the Federal Republic of South East Asia for more than 2 months . But now it seems a new Thai State has been formed . I am not very sure about the politics in eSouth East Asian countries . One thing is sure , eIndonesia is much of a superpower here , so ofcourse they control the policies their nearby states . However , it will be wise for us to look for potential allies there and Thailand could be one of them .

yea they will all be part of Sol anyway. So we will not be aligning with any of the nations...at least not for now! 🙂
