My Experiences and Opinions of eRep

Hello citizens of The New World.

This is an article I have wanted to write for a few weeks now and now that I am 100 days old, I think this is a perfect time to write it.

In this article I will give my thoughts and opinions on the party's I have come across, the military units I have come to known, the people I have met and the country I live, work and fight for. I will also give some of my experience on eRep in general.

So lets start with political parties...

Political Parties of eUK

One Vision: First if all, I will start with the party I am a member of, One Vision. I have been with One Vision since I first started eRepublik and have never wanted to leave. They have supported me since I joined, running for congress twice for the party, making me vPP once and currently I am the Secretary General. The people at 1V are good players who are doing their best for the party. 1V doesn't have much since Alfagrem disappeared, but the party is still waddling on. Not many people are active, but those who are, are a great bunch of guys. I very much like 1V and although we are sinking lower and lower in the party ranking, I would never leave them.

New Era: New Era are currently the party I dislike the most. Many of the people in the party are great but the people who run it, not so much. Their main focus is not their members, but to start and create petty arguments with other parties. They claim that parties such as the UKRP and 1V are 'Childish Parties' although the New Era leaders are the most immature group of people I ever met. They are like 5 year old's trying to get attention from their siblings. And this is where other parties are going wrong. Instead of giving them the attention they want, ignore them. Don't speak to them, don't mention them and definitely don't fuel the arguments they are creating. Leave the 5 year old's alone and eventually they will give up.

GBDP: I have come across some members of the GBDP on the IRC are they are generally a great party. Unfortunately though, despite their hardest efforts, it is not doing so well which is a shame as its one of the few good parties left in the UK. They keep to their own and do what's best for its remaining members and that's exactly what a party should be about, it's members.

Unfortunately I yet to have any close encounters with the other political parties in the UK, so I shall end the Parties Parties of eUK section here.

Military Units of eUK

Funky Militia: Funky is an amazing MU. I joined them when I first started and they helped me with supplies and general eRep stuff throughout my time there. Rory Winterbourne (Commander) is a great and helpful guy (and generous too). It is a great community and is completely apolitical. I would definitely recommend them to any new or old player.

Vault Army: Ever since I started playing eRepublik, I have always wanted to start my own MU. The costs to my bank account to create it has been great, but I have never regretted it. The few guys in my MU are good players who like to just get on with the game and fight for the eUK.

The Royal Dragoons: I have been told by cyg that they are awesome, but meh.

Gallifrey: Awesome name.

That brings an end to the Military Units, now on to experiences.

My Experiences

The eUK Library: The eUK Library is something I have definitely enjoyed working on. I get to write articles which benefit the new citizens, I get to work with the amazing jimbobfrey and I have learnt some new coding skills which will benefit me in my I.T course next year. Has been great fun and I am glad I got the chance to work on it.

Congress: I have been a congress member twice for One Vision. Working with other congress members is great as you get to work with other people who actually want what's best for the UK.

IRC: The IRC is a wonderful place full of arguments, weird fantasies, insults, a**holes, homoerotica, colours and some cool people. I don't think I need to say much more.

eUK Library Instant Help & Support: Unfortunately, not many people have used the service except for the occasional player asking for a sandwich.

Now, on to the final section, Players. I will try not to offend anyone. And if I missed you out that means I like you so much that I have completely forgot about you.

Players

BigAnt: Hm, where to start. BigAnt is a douche when it comes to party politics (no offence). He tries his very best to create a 'storm' between NE and other parties. But, if you put all of the political crap to one side, he seems like a very nice guy. I have previously talked to him via PM, and I kinda like him.

Commander Diaper/Fapper (aka Dapper): Commander Diaper is a great artist and a brilliant comedian. The stuff that he says about 1V and UKRP always makes me laugh. He also kindly created some posters of me, which are both funny and original. (Will link them below)

Fritz179: Fritz is a smart and cool guy, but is a little shifty. Keep an eye on him at all times!

T White II: Good writer, helpful player and a great leader.

Joahua Whelan: Very kind and generous player. He has helped me and many others lately since his return back to the UK, and I am very grateful.

Jimbojoy: Makes good decisions for the better of the UK, although his reasons for making those decisions are sh** to be honest.

CptChazbear😛 Makes eRepublik a lot more enjoyable.

BaskB: His awesomeness runs the eUK Minecraft servers which I enjoy playing on the odd occasion.

WayneKerr: The name says it all.

Mr Woldy: Best king ever.

Cygnus X1: He has created a whole new definition of awesomeness.

jny123: A good person to talk to on the IRC.

Needs to stop all this political BS, constant bickering between parties, accusing people of being a multi and everything else which is ruining this country and game. If we work together, we can make the eUK a great place to live and play eRepublik.
