MoE - Guerrilla Fight

Day 2,046, 13:03 Published in Belgium Slovenia by Ekfant

Dear citizens of eBelgium!

First, here are just basics, presented by eRepublik team, plus some of my general advice about Guerrilla, dont judge me, i'm not good in this 😛

(Drag and drop items to equip/unequip.)

If you want to enter as many Guerrilla fights as possible, while trying to defeat 5 enemies needed for entering a PvP, you should always switch between tanks and bazookas, in order to spend as low amount of energy as possible.

With bazooka, it is always one hit. So you will see how many hits you usually need to defeat the opponent. When you come across the opponent which would have taken you more hits then usual, switch to bazooka. In my example, most of my opponents take me 3 or 2 hits to defeat them. So when I encounter opponent that needs 4 or 5, I use bazooka, in order to save my energy.

Hit chance:
Hit chance is determined by your distance from the opponent and by your equiped weapon ideal range. Ideal ranges are: 100m for pistol; 175m for shotgun; 325m for storm rifle; 700 for M3R (sniper rifle bought for currency), and 750m for Type X (gold sniper rifle). When your opponent distance is exact, or very simillar to ideal range of your weapon, you got 100% hit chance. As you get closer or further than that, the hit chance goes down.

Move:
Default distance is 200 meters. It is modified by your items, by their “agility” value, where as minus values decreas the distance you can cover in one move. You can check the agility and other characteristics by hovering mouse pointer over the item in your inventory. Most of the items have negative value, some smaller, some larger than the others. Only Type X sniper rifle has +1 value.

Grenade damage:

If you have a unused granade equiped, you actually have three of them, so you can use it three times. Grenades always have 100% hit chance, but unlike weapons, they never make critical damage (critical damage occurs occasionally, if you`re lucky, and takes more energy from your opponent then regular hit). Ordinary granade (bought for currency) takes 5 energy from your opponent, where as the golden one takes 10.

Dodge:

If you choose dodge option and your opponent fires at you at that time, his chance of hitting you is decreased. If you are equiped with a grenade, it will be used when you dodge.

Fire/Reloa😛
When you empty your clip (the number of bullets in one clip is: 6 for pistol; 4 for shotgun; 3 for storm rifle; 1 for sniper rifles), the reload button will appear in place of the fire button. If you do not have any more bullets left in that weapon, then the change button will appear.

Change weapon:
You can change weapon any time you want, by clicking on the weapon picture in the lower right corner. Under that picture, you can see ideal range of your weapon, and the ammo status. First number indicate how many bullets you have left in the clip, and the other shows total number of bullets, in all clips together.

Should you actually take part in Guerrilla warfare?

Definitely. If you enter Guerrilla fight, you will recieve following influence (damage):

- If you lose: influence you would do using q7 tank x your energy / 10
(maximum ammount of energy is 100)

- If you win: two times more than when you lose

- If “your enemy has fleed from the battle”: There is lot of uncertainty regarding this matter. It does not happen too often, so I suggest you submit a ticket when that happens and ask admins what applies to your particular case.
So as you can see, even if you lose, you will receive influence as you were hitting with q7 tanks (no matter what tanks you used to defeat 5 opponents in order to enter PvP). And you do not spend tanks while in Guerrilla. So even if you lose every single Guerrilla fight, and do not shoot one single bullet in the process, you will get damage done by 1 q7 tank for free. Of course, it is better to buy items for fight, in accordance with your financial means.

Which weapon to buy?

If you got money (gold, to be precise): the best combination i think it is: storm rifle, two golden sniper rifles, and shotgun.

If you cannot afford golden items: two storm rifles, shotgun and pistol.

There is absolutely no point in buying cheap sniper rifles! First of all, you would have to buy two of them, which is not that cheap after all (better buy golden grenades in that case). They are only one point stronger than storm rifles, and weaker then shotguns! Besides all that, you need to reload them every time. If you got in exchange of fire with someone who has golden sniper rifles, you will have no chance (unless you are much stronger, or very lucky; still, in both those cases, you do not need sniper rifles in order to win).

Helmet, armor and boots

If you can afford it, buy it. It slow you down (decreases the distance you can cross in one move), but it is not too important. On the other hand, it gives you additional 16 energy points, if you are fully equiped. All together, it cost 21.66 currency, and it could be used for three battles. So it costs 7.22 per battle. And those 16 energy very often makes the difference between winning and losing.

If you do not have enough money, try to buy at least helmet and boots. It will give you 8 points and it will cost you only 2.89 per battle.

Fight Results

- The player who loses all his Energy first is defeated
- In case of a draw the player who dealt more damage wins
- This means if a player has armor, they can take damage, while doing no damage, and win the fight
- The Energy that is not lost in the Guerrilla Fight is returned to the total Energy
- Each player will add an amount of damage to the influence bar of the battle, depending on his Strength and Military rank. The winner will add substantially more damage than the defeated player.
- The damage added to the influence bar is cumulated with the damage dealt prior to the Guerrilla Fight. It also counts for Achievements like Battle Hero, Campaign Hero or True Patriot.
- Players will receive Rank Points according to the amount of damage added to the influence bar
- The winning player also receives one item as a reward

If one side involved in the battle has more than 1400 Domination Points the fight will not start (because there may not be enough time to finish it).
