Ministry of Education: News And Resources

Day 761, 11:32 Published in South Africa South Africa by eSA Ministry of Education

Hello Citizens,
There has been much immigration and many people starting fresh in our country recently, many of these people will not know where many of our most valuble resources for information and guidance are located, so therefore the purpose of this article is to provide information as to where these are located and explain why they are so important for you. There will be many articles similar to this published in this newspaper as membership to areas such as the national forums and subscription to national information sources such as this one are vital to communication between our citizens and government. So, without further ado, here is a list of sources of information and education which are vital to our country:

The eSouth Africa national forum
The new eSouth African national forums are the centre for debate about politics, economic and military affairs, it is a crucial area for people who wish to have their voices heard and to take part in the community of eSouth Africa. The forums are a friendly and welcoming place and the centre of the mentoring system for new players, the forums may be found here (just copy and paste the link into your browser and press enter, registration to the forums is quick and easy):

The eSouth Africa IRC channel
The eSouth Africa IRC channel is a place frequented by eSouth African citizens who wish to talk casually about eRepublik and eSouth Africa, as well as various other issues. The IRC channel is also a fairly fun place to be, with trivia competitions and entertaining conversations taking place regularly. The IRC channel can be found at:

Channel: eSouth_Africa

The mentoring scheme
The mentoring scheme is well run by Tacointern, and provides an invaluble service to new citizens throughout eSouth Africa. Taco is very well trained in dealing with new citizens, providing top quality mentors and education to those who need it the most. I highly recommend for those new citizens who wish to learn more about game mechanics or who just have a few questions to contact him.

The eSouth Africa Health Center
Probably my favourite place in the whole of eSouth Africa. I have ran the eSouth Africa Health Service for three terms now, and it has just gone from strength to strength, we offer the following policies to assist those who are struggling with their wellness:

eSouth Africa Programs December 2009

The Stepped Gifting System
If your wellness is under 40, you will be allocated to a priority level 1-4 due to the severity of your wellness deficit, and it will run as following:

Priority 1 (Those with Wellness <10)- The people in the Priority 1 bracket will recieve gifting to the value of 10 wellness and food to the value of 3 Q2s

Priority 2 (Those with Wellness 11-20)- The people in the priority 2 bracket will recieve gifting to the value of 10 wellness and food to the value of 1 Q2

Priority 3 (Those with Wellness 21-30)- The people in the priority 3 bracket will recieve gifting to the value of 8 wellness and food to the value of 1 Q2

Priority 4 (Those with Wellness 31-40)- The people in the priority 4 bracket will recieve gifting to the value of whatever the difference between your wellness and 41.

You may, of course re-apply for this program (So when you get gifted to priority 3 on one day, you can get gifted to priority 4 the next! But you have to re-apply, to indicate further activity of course).

The War Program
The war program is aimed at those who are a little bit older (Level 7 and above) who need to increase their wellness through gifting for fighting or other uses. The applicant must buy their own gift (Or provide the money for eSAHC to invest in the best gifting offer for them), and the eSAHC will gift it back to them! (Giving instant wellness).

To apply for a program, please click here and send a message.

Ministry of Education News
The Ministry of Education has been officially re-formed and although we have lost a lot of time this month (due to the PTO crisis etc), we intend to make it up with the latter half of the term, hopefully providing a firm foundation for next terms Ministry of Education. To do this, I intend to follow my previously announced reforms to the letter. Something, which I hope will benefit all.
