The Ministry of Domestic Affairs
All of the things that the Ministry of Domestic Affairs are involved in have been split into different departments within the Ministry of Domestic Affairs, here is a list of what they come under so you can scroll down for more information:
- National Archives of Austria (archiving history)
- Department for Information (wiki)
- Department of Justice (legislation)
- Department of Communication and Linguistics (translation and newspaper)
National Archives of Austria
The department deals with the History of Austria on eRepublik. Some of the earlier history from 2008 and early 2009 have been lost and our job is to find it, where possible. For example, it is unknown who the second and third presidents are and it is our job to find out who although this could be very difficult.
Department for Information
This department deals with the eRepublik wiki and it's contents. This department is involved in updating and adding things to the wiki to make it easier to use and ultimately making it easier to find things regarding Austria. This has single-handedly been the most important area of work for the ministry over May, as Ministry of Culture and in June.
Department of Justice
This department deals with the redraft of the constitution (this is in progress as it was a task last month) and to make sure that the rules of the constitution are enforced to some degree.
Department for Communication and Linguistics
The Communication side of this department deals with the Austrian forums and with media representation of the government when it comes to wars and other events of significance.
The Linguistics side of this department deals with the translation of government, and maybe citizen articles and statements into different languages. Our main focus of this department will be the translation of documents into English or German as these are the most commonly spoken languages of eAustria.

There will be TWO positions open for new members of Austria to become involved with the Ministry of Domestic Affairs if they wish. This is a good chance for newer Austrian citizens to become involved with the government and to make it up the ranks of Austrian politics. These position will be called "Apprentices of Domestic Affairs" or AoDA for short.

We have several other positions that need to be filled over the month and you should contact either myself or Riboldo if you wish to have one of them.

Beispielsweise ist nun unbekannt, wer der zweite und dritte Präsident war und eventuell könnte dies etwas schwierig werden. Abteilung für Information
Diese Abteilung beschäftigt sich mit dem Wiki von eRepublik und dessen Inhalt. Hier wird sich alles um das Updaten und Hinzufügen von Daten in das Wiki-System drehen, um das Wiki ernsthaft als Datenbank für Fakten rund um Österreich benützen zu können. Die wichtigsten Bereiche wurde schon im Alleingang vom Kulturministerium im Mai und letztes Monat im MoDA überarbeitet und diese Arbeit wird sich nun bei uns klarerweise fortsetzen.
Abteilung für Justiz
Diese Abteilung kümmert sich um den Neuentwurf der Konstitution (was seit letztem Monat schon begonnen wurde) und wir werden auch sicher gehen, dass diese Regelungen zum Großteil auch durchgesetzt werden.
Abteilung für Kommunikation und Linguistik
Die Seite der Kommunikation behandelt das Österreichische Forum sowie die mediale Repräsentation der Regierung, beispielsweise für Kriege, Trainingskriege und andere wichtige Ereignisse.
Der linguistische Teil dieser Abteilung beschäftigt sich mit der Übersetzung von Regierungs- und evtl. Bürgerartikeln und Erklärungen. Der Fokus dieser Abteilung liegt in der Übersetzung von Dokumenten ins Englische bzw. Deutsche, da dies die Hauptsprachen von Österreich sind.

Es wird nun ZWEI offene Positionen für neue Mitglieder Österreichs geben, die nun im Ministerium für innenpolitische Angelegenheiten mitarbeiten können. Dies ist eine gute Chance für neue österreichische Bürger, für sein Land zu arbeiten und bei Regierungsentscheidungen mitzuwirken. Diese Positionen werden wir offiziell als "Auszubildende für innenpolitische Angelegenheiten" bzw. AoDA (im engl. "Apprentices of Domestic Affairs"
