Message in a bottle
General Levy
Hello all,
I'll begin with the boringly obvious and simple introduction of introducing myself!
I'm General Levy, named after the Jungle MC,from the 90's.
I found out about eRepublik from a friend,Mr.Bop,who recommended giving eRepublik a go,and so,I'm doing just that!
Mr.Bop kindly explained the very basics and i seem to have the hang of that much so far, however,as the title of the article suggests,I'm still a bit lost!
This is my open plea to anyone and everyone for any short term/long term guidance or tips, past the basics...perhaps some of the basics even!
As Tesco rightly say; Every little helps!
I can genuinely say that I'm already intrigued by eRepublik, although it's also been a bit daunting, for lack of a better word, because of the sheer scope of the game!
Hopefully,in time,I can make a significant difference in eRepublik, and help eIreland,to be more specific, whether it's a political one or if it's just adding to the community and spreading the joy!
It seems like commitment and having a good all-round understanding of the game pays off in the long run,but for now, I'll be staying in the eRepublic classroom, learning!
I'll finish up with a quick shout-out to Mr.Tayto, for sorting out the avatar, aswell as already offering his assistance(even if it is his in game duty to do so)! Cheers
That's all from me for now
Slán agus beannacht
Love and Peace to all. Be lucky.
Levy

welcome to you, nice first article.
have fun here
Hi, I have been playing eRepublik for 2 years, and I know some things. First off. do you have a job yet? I highly suggest getting one before you start going on that massive beginner's fighting spree. 😛. Having a job gets you money, witch you can use to but food, wepons, and other items. Also, you can apply for free food here: http://tinyurl.com/kanvuq6
Welcome and have fun.
Welcome to eIreland.
Watch that Tayto chap, a bit dodgy 😉
Fight as little as possible, while training as much as possible.
Don't spend any gold until you have a solid idea what to do with it.
Find a commune job within the IA supply system until you can become self supporting.
Send friend requests to everyone.
Read as many newspapers as you can find.
Keep your own paper going to get to know more people.
Look at the political parties and join the one that most suits you.
After a month or so, ask your Party President, or one of the government ministers, for a chance to help them.
Don't be shy. If you have an opinion on something, put it out.
Keep any real world biases in the real world. There are plenty of reasons in the game to dislike a person or country.
Send some of those friend requests to players in other ecountries.
hello and welcome 🙂
If you can be bothered here is something I wrote a while back and is probably a little outdate😛

Here is a something a little bit more recent, it is an article with a couple of helpful links by Ian E Coleman:

Hmmm some of the tips I have given to new citizens when I working for the MoE (Ministry of Education) were:
Upgrade you training grounds first (Free and 0.19g one) - This increases your gold income dramatically. It is more efficient than creating low Q companies or raw material.
Don't fight unless it is a critical battle until you get to a higher division - Military divisions are level based as so the higher level you are the higher the division you will be in. As you increase in division it requires more influence to get a BH so a lot of people just focus on increasing their strength so that they can get a lot of BHs for the extra gold just before they leave the division they are in.
Actively talk to people whither through in-game chat, forums, irc etc. - This game can get dull if you are just two clicking (Working, fighting, training), the thing that is most interesting about MMOs are the community.
Another way of enjoying yourself is to find something you like about this game, personally there was time where I liked to help new citizens and so committed a lot of my time just doing that like starting up the eIrish Boot Camp (which fell of recently 🙁.. ). It kept me active and it helped me make a couple new friends and the main thing was I was enjoying myself.
Avoid the orcs! iNFO ABOUT : infestation points and what parties, mu's to avoid is available at the clerics HQ.
Welcome to eIreland!
sub 2 = Me!
Welcome to eRepublik my dear friend!
Best wishes from Mexico!
Something that is awesome in this game is that you get a lot of friends all arround the world, and if I can say it, the social module is what I most enjoy
Feel free to ask about anything you want, any help, advises, or just to talk
welcome enjoy the game o7
If you need any help don't be afraid to ask.
Join Labour People's Army and get a commune job with me. Mr Bop's here, so you'll know someone and we'll answer any question you might have.
