ME
Septimius Maximinus
I shared these on facebook years ago but they are still very true about me, especially the 2nd part about being a dreamer. I have very intense vivid and sometimes lucid dreams to be honest I would rather live in my dream world then real life for obvious reasons but each night as I go to sleep it's like watching a movie. I do not have the links for the quizzes or whatever they where because this was a few years ago sorry.
Edit: I remember everything from my first lucid dream, I was climbing a ladder that was just standing perfectly vertical and when I reached the top I was about to jump into a window but instead I stopped myself and train of thought and just asked myself if I was dreaming, I looked down at the ground the ladder wasn't even connected to anything so I stood up perfectly on top with perfect balance and I said "If this is a dream I'm about to find out" and I dove off head first, I then just started flying I went higher and higher and flew over lakes, oceans, beaches, forests etc. and I changed the color of the sky from neutral blue with added clouds to red, pink, violet colors. One of the best dreams I ever had.
Origin of my soul, "Reincarnated From an Animal"
More so than a deep connection to nature, you have a specific and intrinsic connection to animals, as your soul used to belong to one. Whether your being was a fierce and cunning wolf or a soaring, graceful hawk, you instinctively know the freedom of an open sky or the serenity of a thick forest. Few things bring you more joy than interacting with animals of any kind, as you feel at home in their presence. For you, animals are a great source of empathy - as you much prefer them over other people - and now you know why!
What is your spiritual gift? "Dreamer"
You're a dreamer! Dreamers have the special gift to receive messages and reveal truths in their dreams. When you fall asleep, your dreams work as a channel between the spirit world and the real world. You know to never interpret your dreams literally, for they always contain some hidden meaning or symbolism. You almost always remember your dreams and without fail they deeply reflect the inner truths of what's happening around you. You often find yourself saying "I just dreamt about you!" to friends and loved ones. Your dreams are a channel for you to learn the deepest truths about this life, use your gift wisely and help the rest of us out in the process.
Which ancient religion does your spirit belong to? "Buddhism"
Kind and thoughtful, your spirit is in line with the practices of Buddhism. More at peace with philosophy than religion, your spirituality rests within wells of knowledge and wisdom. You have a deep appreciation for life and the makings of our reality. For you, knowledge is sacred - as are acts of kindness and sincerity. Buddhism centers on happiness and wisdom, and the sanctity of inner peace - all things you hold in high regard.

What just happened?
Too many words .... needs more pictures ...
Plenty of pictures if you have imagination. Thanks for sharing. It's always fascinating to hear about people's dreams.
I studied Buddhism as part of subject on religions at university. I studied many different religions. Buddhism was nice, I liked mahayana form the most. The only thing I found missing from Buddhism was that they don't really believe in God. This was a crucial thing missing from this philosophy. If you study the life of Buddha and his teachings, his teachings and message had many similarities with the teachings of Christ, but coming to the conclusion that there wasn't really a God rather natural law where like energy moves from one realm to another... For me it fell short... My conclusion is that Christ was and is the ultimate teacher and master, and Christ is the way the truth and the life.
Within some of the many schools of Buddhism there are certainly gods of various levels of divinity, there also exists the idea of the conscious universe, which we are all part of. It's not too dissimilar to the idea of the body of Christ in Christianity. The idea of the past and future incarnations of the Buddha, if taken in the most literal sense is also a kind of godhead, are similar to the idea of the death, resurrection, and prophesied return of Jesus. Similar ideas can be found in many religions, especially if one looks back at earlier Vedic, Egyptian, and Sumerian text many parallels and influences on later religions can be found.
Christianity also had its Gnostics who had at times quite different ideas to those which made it into catholic sanctioned canon which we now call the new testament.
I studied first year philosophy (as well as some second year units on a few schools of thought). It lacks some of the nuances which you can only get from reading the texts and exposing yourself to many differing commentaries on their meaning. It's like the difference between Sunday school and theology.
That being said, your path may be to follow the faith you were raised in (unless you were a later convert). My path differed as I found something which fits me better, well a few things at different stages. There are potential merits may of the word's beliefs.

Another interesting similarity between Jesus and Buddha is that neither of them wrote anything down, preferring practical, often individually tailored, teaching. We generally rely on second or third hand accounts to try and figure out their original intentions.
I have written down my own little dream:
