It is time for a holiday
Rusty D
Hello to anyone who reads my paper....
I would like to address my brothers and sisters of eAustralia. I would like to say 'cheers' for the good times and the bad times. But alas I would also like to say 'Goodbye', as when this current CP term ends, I will be moving from Australian shores and going abroad for a holiday.
I will see out my tenure as Australian CP and I will help oversee the transition from Military Coup to whatever Australia decides. The reason I have chosen to leave Australia is many. But I know I am no longer trusted by the majority of Australia to continue a political career here. I have always tried to be impartial and to be neutral (as someone put it 'Rusty is like Switzerland'), however due to actions that have happened over the past couple of days, I have been put in a position where people's trust in me has been breached. This is no fault of my own, but I understand the consequence of it.
I am informing the citizenship of this decision early, so people will take it into account with any choices they make. But I am 100$ committed in helping and assisting eAustralia through this transitional phase.
As most of you know, I have invested my own money into this game and also used it to set up a few things. One of them being the The Australian Communist Party.
I have asked the members to choose a new leader for the ACP. I plan on stepping down from PP president at the end of the CP term or as soon as I can find someone to take over the role.
My MU The People's Militia of Australia will be donated to the Australian government if they wish to use it (for war or self dictatorship purposes). If it is the latter, I will also leave 200k cc in it for the funding of it.
Once again I would like to thank everyone in Australia for making this an enjoyable time for me. While I am unsure when I will be back to eAustralia, please know that I will always be keeping up to date with happenings here.
And also I will stay 100% focused on eAustralia until the end of my CP term.

Thanks eAustralia.
🙁
You should cry.
We should all cry, Lany.
Sorry to see you go Rusty, and I'm also sorry that people are to stubborn and proud to realise you had nothing to do with the Revolution.
Not just that, but the revolution has caused more problems then you could imagine for eAustralia.... Decisions made quickly and with being thought through tend to be the bad ones.
And you still think it's the tax hike that drives people out of eAustralia? Think again and look at the harm your big fat ego has caused.
Rusty messaged me before the Revolution that he was leaving eAus, and after he said he might stay another term because of it.
😮 Didn't see that coming...
Firstly, thanks for everything you've done. It is reassuring to have someone with the...charisma? and independence that you display at the helm. We will miss you.
Secondly, and I must admit to not knowing you for very long... Please stick around! Lurk in the shadows, or mentor a replacement. At least until the bitching and moaning is gone.
And remember that it is only a game!
I will always be here, but just in a different country. My PM box is always open for anyone who has a question, wants advice or wants to know where to find a laughs out on the internet.
And I will stay semi involved in Australian dealings, commenting on articles and so forth, just no longer see a viable future for Australian politics, both internally and externally, so I will not be apart of it.
It'll be sad to see you go.
I will still be lurking in the shadows like a stalker
Rusty D lurking in the shadows sounds like the title for an adult film
might look it up on xhamster while the laptop is out 😉
You've done the best out of a bad situation this month and I can't think of anyone who could deal with this revolution and dictator crap better than you did. Godspeed Rusty, Godspeed.
Unfortunately from all angles that I can see, Australia is headed down a bad road. It will end up being very costly in friendships and in other ways. There is no way to avoid this and stay impartial like I have always tried to advocate.
It's all the same crap that has gone on for 6 years Rusty. You were the best we've had in a long time but ego's got the best of the 2 "revolutionaries."
But now it is going to get very ugly internally. And all that does is present a bad image to the outside world, which will cause us being targeted by 'friendly' and 'unfriendly' nations
To the outside eWorld eAustralia has always had a bad image, nothing new there.
You'll be missed, mate. You've done more for eAus in a few months than most have in a lifetime.
O7
Cheers Mero, I am proud to see you move up and become an active member of the community from your humble newbie days.
o.o Mero?
Hang on, don't confuse me with Mero! I'm a toad, he's a cat.
Totally different beasts but both loveable in their own way! 😉
whoops, been replying to too many messages this morning, sorry Mongoosier
Hehe no dramas RD - bigger things to worry about 🙂
There are problems no matter where you go.. Ups and downs in every situation.. No one is always on your side in life and no one is always against you.. Anything which is broken can he mended. Don't think anyone wants you to leave.
Info, I can sit by idly and let the country go to shit. You know as well as I do, I no longer have the trust of the two different parties, so I cant mediate a better solution. You, yourself still think that I had something to do with the revolution, so that should show the general gauge of one side.
Where I will end up, I wont be politically active. And yes it will be hard to see Australia go down, but maybe it might be for the best, like a phoenix, it might rise again to be better.
Don't know why you think Australia will go down.. Think it is a pessimistic view to have. Maybe you think that because the vision which you wanted in particular is not being created... You should try to be more optimistic.
Also, so what if some people think you had something to do with the revolution.. Unless there is a smoking gun, you are innocent until proven guilty..
I don't think it's that bad regarding the trust of the two different parties... If it is, I am sure it can be fixed... But I think you are seeing things worse than what they are... And you are not focusing on the positives.
You will be missed Rusty :'(
I will be still available via PM if you need anything Hayden.
Boss! what will happen with my job? nah, thank you Rusty, you will be missed.
I will just be located in a different country, you will still have a job.
When you move into another country jobs will be closed
Then I will message my workers and inform them of the new openings. It
Such a shame you leaving Rusty, none of this is on your head and any personal attacks on you is from small minded people who don't know what you have done for the country.
Even after this all blows over there will be massive repercussions for the country as I can see not only you leaving but a few others will bail as well. Gone are the days of standing up to outside forces such as Indo it is easier for people to bend over and just take.
Indo is no longer a threat, they are peaceful. The threat is what comes from with in. It was something that was being contained and having a workable plan, but that was blown out of the water.
Someone else might be able to find a compromise for the best of Australia, but I am not that person due to others decisions.
And it is with a heavy heart as I can see Australia will implode soon and unfortunately the only way to stop it is to become worse then the 'hitmen' out there.
Rusty, Indo was used as a reference for what we as a community used to do. This was well before your time that we had constant threats from them and we stood our ground not rolled over like we do now days
Good luck mate
What can I say X, you were close to coming into the fold, but others jumped the gun. All I can ask is that you will be gentle with the country and not trash it or set it on the wrong course like other dictators around the world have done.
Good luck, and be careful in the rig !
Rig?
Xenthus told you were working in an Oil Rig xD
Oh okay, off to Denmark tomorrow for a course and then Munich to watch my hero's play (hopefully better than what they did against Porto)
Running away Rusty? When the funs just beginning.
Not running away Brigidd, but need a change of scenery for a bit. Plus I dont think I can work for Australia's best interest anymore or stand by and watch will happen to it.
Your whole attitude is wrong Rusty D. You're causing a divide splitring this nation and causing panic, which Aus does not need this right now.
How? by saying that I want to leave Australia? does the direction of my travels reflect the whole of Australian public? if you want to discuss, feel free to PM me (save the mile long comments).
It is good decision but not because of the trust. We are not bots and we all have real jobs and personal live. It is not fair to hang over one guy and pressing him to solve all our problems. On the top of that we are complaining all the time.
Keep the passion Rusty, I am sure one day you will come here with same energy ready to work for the best of Australia.
Too come back I will need to ensure who ever is playing Dictator lets me in with his/her CS pass 😛
