I used to...

Day 2,379, 05:43 Published in Slovenia Slovenia by AlxTeam

I used to think I was happy, but to be honest, I was just really comfortable.
Routine was my middle name. I enjoyed it. Every day was the same, day in and day out. All planed to the last minute.

Always took my umbrella with me, for just in case if there would be rain.
Always packed too much with me, so that I would have everything on hand.

Always planed everything in advance and then at the end I stayed at home, because the weather wasn’t the way I wanted, no sun in summer, no light breeze in spring and autumn, no snow in winter. It was so much more comfortable at home.

There was never time to read a book, any kind of a book, because I had to pair my socks.

How foolish of me. But now I can’t wait for another light summer shower, the rain in my shoes, the soaked clothes and wet hair that curl up.

The weekend with just a sleeping bag, tent (some fresh underpants), a picnic blanket in the shades under the trees by the river shore with a book in my hand. Just listening to the birds and the bees in the evening.

Now, I know I am a mess and act like a kid, but I am really happy. I will ask you:

Think, know it and own it!
