Well, I'm probably racist in RL, I prefer white people, strongly against non white immigrants (especially Muslim ones) and immigrants that don't assimilate and respect the country where they move and I think homosexuality is a disorder, nothing against gays, but hey, it isn't biologically normal, innit... Guns are a big hot topic here. My take is that guns are indeed bad, the same way that nuclear bombs are bad, but both are available now, we can't make them magically disappear. The very elites that are so passionate about gun control pay their security to carry guns and live in gated communities. Why do the utilize the very guns they want to take away from the common person that can't afford a security guard? Because it's the most effective way to protect their family. I guarantee that if threatened, the Queen has a few armed guards that would stop it. Why shouldn't I have the samr option, assuming I'm known to be responsible and am trained to use the gun safely?

I too have a low tolerance for stupidity. Low mental capacity can be helped, psychological ailments can be treated, ignorance can be educated, but stupid is forever. My work involves special needs people. By definition of DHHS they are mentally retarded (actual legal definition). They deserve my attention and care. Racism isn't preferring your own people from a cultural standpoint, it's believing that certain races are inherently inferior and/or others are inherently superior. From your description you aren't racist, but please correct me if I'm wrong and you do actually believe that some people are inferior to you just because of the race they belong to.

Feminism is the belief that women should have equal rights and status to men. Are you really opposed to feminism, or just Feminists? I'm asking because I personally find that most people who would actually describe themselves as Feminists are irritating extremists, whereas I do believe in equal rights for women.

I have no idea whether homosexuality is learned behaviour or not, and to be honest I don't really care. I believe reading is learned behaviour, and no-one seems to have a problem with that. How you believe homosexuals should be treated would reveal much more about how tolerant you are than whether you think it's learned behaviour or not. For instance, believing that homosexuals should be brain-washed into adhering to the societal norm of heterosexuality would be a pretty text book definition of intolerance. Not saying that's what you believe, just giving it as an example.

As for guns, if you know of a way to keep them away from f-ing idiots I think the whole of the USA would thank you as the idiots keep taking them into schools and shooting children. Not having the idiots be able to walk into a gun shop and buy one seems like a good way from my point of view.

As far as guns, the U.S. laws obviously don't work. Adding crap to a shit pile seems redundant to me. Recently we had a mass shooting. The guilty party "legally" bought his rifle, followed all the rules. Later it was found that the military forgot to enter into electronic records that he was dishonorably discharged because he was a wife beater and been found guilty of assault several times. No idea about the assault conviction in civil court. We do need to control who has weapons, we also need to have ATF finding more stolen and illegaly imported guns.

Personally I believe homosexuality is an entirely natural predisposition some people are born with, women should have all the same rights and duties as men, cultural differences are often wrongly misattributed to racial differences and the best defence against tyranny is a robust political system, not a weaponised school system. But ranting about all that here would be provocative, no?

To answer your question, "why bring up RL views", I have no notion of any issues with individuals inside the game itself. I have no special inflection of those on the other side of the screen other than what they care to share. When someone does offer personal information, they themselves interject RL into the conversation. When you make charges of racism that is what encourages me to have a public forum which this article is. It's my contention that your willingness to pronounce judgment, whether grounded in fact or a desire to harm others by way of accusation, opened this can of worms.

Despite being a collection of pixels and data, profiles here have real people behind them. They are from a mix of different races and religions, just like the real UK. And it can be upsetting when you're playing a game and someone is shouting n**ger or "kill the jews" or "I hate Muslims" on the national feed in a childish attempt to be edgy or get attention or impress their mates with how cool they are.
