Its finally over. We need to reconsider the form our government will take, since the Dictatorship rules are real and present.
A. The initial proposal was that the CP should be Dictator, passing it along each month . This weakness is that there is no Congress to moderate his actions and that should he hang on, its an expensive exercise regaining our government. The advantages are that hostile dictatorships become expensive.
B. The alternate suggestion out there that we elect a reliable King who can be trusted to be active and push buttons on command. The weakness of this is that it requires trust. While WayneKerr was not terrible, he also had a total disdain for the elected government. Its going to be a tough sell with exactly the right person to sell this.
C. The last option is to keep Democracy with all its warts and controls and stave off the rise of dictators on our shores with allies and a healthy bank balance.
We have 9 days to decide which form of government we support.
Tick-tock. Time to decide.

I go over each of these options multiple times a day and I'm still can't find one I am 100% comfortable with.
If Plato could make dictatorships a little bit more precarious to maintain the World might return to Democracy. I understand that's a big if, yet I remain hopeful.
Or better still abandon the joke of a political module and let the big MUs fight it out for dictatorship
I am partial to C. myself. I figure that a robust democracy with good allies can stave off most invasions anyway.
