Government Policies
Bholenath
Had a few doubts and suggestions for the government (Dictator AND President + Congress) regarding issues which have been ailing India for a long time... so thought better get them out; correct me if I'm wrong or comment other issues which you think needs to get fixed.
1. Millitary
Are we that poor a nation that we can't afford at least one MPP a month? I know that we do have periodic RWs and our own wars but there are a few problems: people (specially 2-clicking higher div guys) have to travel to fulfil DO and secondly, new citizens who join India have no where to fight and as we all know that newbs have so much energy at hand in their first few days but understand so little about this game that if we don't give them a place to vent it out, they might not be even able to find the game interesting.
I am not saying that's these are fatal problems but regular wars are good for people and economy. So maybe if our pockets allow it, get a couple of MPPs with a friendlies? Spain?
2. Economy
For the past few weeks, Q7 Weapons and Food are being sold at exorbitant prices which is chronically unhealthy for the country.
Now I know that there's a patriotic string attached with this but we should lower the import taxes. One may argue that this would be detrimental to our desi business people but the more important fact is that such high prices are detrimental to general people who don't buy a lot and who don't travel a lot - it's unfair to them.
I know that this solution may take some time to show effects or may not work at all but we haven't little if not nothing to lose by this.
Desi traders will have the edge even if the VAT is 2% (9 cc wep gets imported at 9.18 cc.)
One may again argue that move and buy.... but again.... 2-clickers and newbs!
3. Congress
Congress has not been doing its bit for a long time. The problem is that the congressmen think everything is dictator's or president's responsibility but there's only so much one man can do. I know that they have no real power in a Dictatorship but that does not absolve them of their responsibilities. There are a lot of thing to be said... I will make a separate article on this 😛
I know that most of these problems are systemic but our 'chalta hai' attuitude is also to be blamed. PizzaRayne has been doing some awesome work as a Diktator, soldier and a citizen as have many others during the recent past and I am sure India is going to get better and better.
Message me if you need ANY help.

I am no economy guy, so will leave that to those who know better to figure out & post suggestions.
From what I understand - even I have just recently become active & am still catching up - so correct me if I am wrong, we haven't really have enough income in the past few months to sustain more than a couple of MPP's on a regular basis. I'm trying to work out a rental deal to rectify that situation.
Having said that, our recent regional shuffling - with Bulgaria coming in & negotiations on with Croatia regarding region returns have left us in a bit of a spot. We had the Macedonian MPP running out just a couple of days back & would love to renew that and a few key ones; I've just been apprehensive in case there are further movements to be made for the region deals. It is definitely a priority on my list.
Congress in itself has no power as long as there is a dictator in place, if I'm not mistaken. Of course, that shouldn't stop folks from being more active & involved. As we've said before, we've set up Skype groups & in game threads to discuss strategy & what not; we're trying to kick off retention programs too. So the more folks contribute their time & energy, the better we can grow.

Good suggestions.
Economy :- Well, We don't provide a large enough market for any foreign seller. I have seen only one person who is hyper active on our market by name jdee something, We can't ever hope to provide a stable market according to all other countries, because we have no Domestic producers. I would guess only around 100~300 Q7s are produced in India a day. And the cost increasing is international : I have been trading the weapons for a long time, I would tell you. before the tournament (that plasma tank) the prices were 7~8 or maybe even top 6s, but during the first 2 days of tourney, it went to top 8s or 9, then it went down for few days but that was definitely bcoz of the bargain to sell by sellers. So this price hike is universal.
We cannot hope of making our market prices equal, it will be a cent high anyway, but that volatility and pressure difference can be used for our benefit too. Trade, that is what we must. Production is not for us, but trade can. I was talking of it on the congress thread too, We need a trade community , government backed with public share holding. Trade can help us earn, and that fund can be used to sponsor some projects for the poor and newbies, The rich can survive, and ofc, we must make them spend for an economy to work. BAY (http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/bharatiya-anna-yojana-subsidized-daily-delivery-2524084/1/20) can be a good project like which we did during Bombay Bomb terms ( I know coz I was FM then) Actually though that was a subsidy program, we made a Profit from it .. 3.5% (The project only had 45,000HP range- not many took part)
So, a council dedicated to Economy, with people who know it may be good for it,, and the funds to it can be like a share company, we the people invest, the council uses - shares can be sold maybe but the cash cant be asked back..
