Okay, back. I don't know why anyone - Pacifica or Canadian - should take an eUSA reject seriously. You're hardly the spokesman for a country that laughed you out, Mr. Bishop, and your propaganda can only serve to bolster the hopes of ignorant eCanadians.

Let me make myself clear. Canada should know its place in the worl😛 in eRepublik you are at the mercy of the eUS, not its equal. You exist because the USA does not want to waste its time in a prolonged conflict with a nation with more than a dozen regions.

The eUS started the last war. They made it their national goal to destroy the community. The provocation for that was that the eUS had rejected us from alliance membership, essentially forcing us to the other side. So, no. I will not be eating my words. Just 5 - 6 months ago, the US hated us, and had us wiped. Even if we are cordial now, one can hardly say " our connections with the Americans are some of the strongest".

I would say we have strong ties with individual Americans, but not their government. Many Americans have been good to us even when their government considered us the enemy.

So if you look at the connections with the top people in Canada to that of eUsa you see similarities. Many of the top people in Canada are friends with people like Oblige, Wildowl, judeconnors and the like. The Americans did a trolling war on us 6 months back but that does not reflect those friendships. Rather rouge leadership of the time. Let's not forget the latest round of training wars we had with the eUSA either. We are friends, in hearts and in minds.

Rouge is my favourite type of leadership. It's very slimming.

People who are friends with those people should not be in leadership at any level. Just sayin.

I do not know if Pacifica requires any membership dues but I would assume they would. This is pretty typical because people expect COs and tank give away on important battles.

What is your source? Could we have a link? Since Persian Punisher and Andre3567 have been running things all my concerns have been addressed and Bryan Alexander has been elected LETO Govenor. LETO does not kiss our ass but neither do we kiss their's.

Have you actually read what France's MoFA said in their recent article? There is no mention of "in-fighting" or that the "alliance is shambles". What is does mention is that They wanted to NAP with Poland to have some region. There was some disagreement about how many regions. Obviously communication failed in both directions. Also France was disturbed because other battles have been put in priority ahead of theirs. These are legitimate concerns/reasons but are not what you are proposing, we need citations to understand what you are talking about.

What "power" are we supposed to have? We are the member of an alliance, not the leader of something. I need citations for the "broken words" and "broken promises". We cannot properly discuss this unless I know what they are. If words or promises were broken I cannot get them mended unless I know what they are.

Agree, Pacifica would be strong geo-political ally. Disagree that "It allows us stability and allows us to take a stronger leadership role." We would be a "Partner" only. Founding partners have authority.

I believe the USA lacks the stability to be trusted as a long term ally of Canada. You never know when you'll be her friend or when she'll decide to wipe you. If Aurora were accepting new members, I would say join them. In my experience in India, Bulgaria and the Republic of Macedonia have been honorable allies.

If we were to change alliances, I'd be more inclined to push ATLAS from treaty, to full blown alliance than to join Russia+2.
