Fighting Babies - The Story of eG [ENG version]

Day 805, 06:44 Published in Germany Germany by Dejan Vojvoda

[ENGLISH VERSION - ABRIDGED TO BASICS]

This article is a direct answer to a bunch of questions, especially from our younger players, but also to the critics of the last days, which are obviously trying to take the boredom from us.

Yes, eGermany has no active fight. Yes, that's affecting our economy. Yes, people are losing money and experience points by that. Yes, you are also not able to gain health. Yes, we have a lot of problems...

So, your resentments are reasoned

But: This is not a special situation. eGermany isn't alone in that kind of situation. It's not the fault just of a missing MPP with eUK. There is no right or obviousness to fight. President and government know all problems very well and try to find solutions. Nobody is keeping silence and it does them care. Otherwise there wouldn't be so much articles explaining the "Why".

Discussions are founded, constructive criticism is wanted, but that's just possible in association with specific suggestions, which should also be realistic and not depended on daydreams. If president Neumann had said, that we do not have the gold for the UK-MPP and that Phoenix will not pay for it, nobody would care two hoots about it. But he was truthful about it and an amazing part of people thanks it with disregard. Alright, no one is forcing you to like him or to endorse everything. I'm also said, that I had took other policies and decisions, but I respect that decision and try to find other solutions. Nothing but nagging and showing on past potential misdeterminations without any solution is not useful, except you are just bored what it simply look like.

Let's take a look on history: Not a long time ago, there was no eGermany and everybody was bawling for lieberation, "Secure the congress", "Safe us from a prospective PTO". It couldn't be fast enough for some people, the government was alleged for not doing anything. ePatriots wrote articles about cohesion, that they would pay money to get the eGerman citizenship instead of expecting money, government's news have been read but each time with disappointment, because there were not shown any tactical plans, just rallying calls. But everybody understood the necessity of secrecy. Then the great day arrived and we were able to say "Good morning free eGermany". While authorities called not to move back hasty and urged just the congress candidates to come home, the ministry of migration was overcharged with citizenship requests of all homecomers. And there was the pretty next problem coming to liberated eGermany.
The population now needed a supply. A hospital was planed ab initio, but we wanted to wait till the critical point of congressional election. For ePoland it had be an easy thing to destroy egermany a second time in a short periode. The obvious way would have been to do it before election, so they could harm eGermany also in the future. Why should anybody offer up a hospital, especially when nobody wanted civilians in the country until after election. But again for some people it wasn't quite fast enough. Declarations of government, that the process has already started have been ignored or disbelieved, information about further diplomatic events in that case were also not of interest: "give us the hospital, at best yesterday". Scarcely the "Lhasa Memorial" was built the foreign policies changed again, no wonder... we are in war. Previously there have been discussions and disputes about building the hospital in Bavaria and also about building a second hospital. But then Konrad declared our nation one of his most serious decisions as president.

No renewal of the UK MPP! An eNation shocked. How will we continue? Where can we fight? What about our workers? How can we leave our friends in the lurch? Suddenly the hospital is totally waste, of course... who needs a hospital in future?! From mow all power proceed from eUK. It seems not to be important, that Phoenix stands by eUK steht, that the eBundeswehr never was called back from eUK (and partly from eRussia). It's a fact that eGermany didn't had a well going economy before war just like now. Also before war you had to move out in order to earn good money. eGermany was before war full of people who abandon high wages and daily wars, people who stayed in eGermany for the good of the homecountry, to improve, and to change it! Therefore I understand everybody who's concerned about our newbies and his Wellness. But I ignore all who are concerned just about any kind of profit. It's true, that some of us called all eGermans back home to early, but on the other side wich other options we had?!? Most of you already have been here, others asked us where to move in Germany, Bavaria or Saarland. If we hadn't responded some had grumped "they remain silent on that" and "great, now I'm in Bavaria without any hospital". If we responded "Wait with your moving homewards", 'cause the situation changes each day, everybody would listen to us, naturally, like they listened to us after liberating eGermany. So we did what looked accurate to us: all eGermans were called to move to Saarland, 'cause there the hospital is resp. will be. Of course it's always government's fault, I take it also in my responsibility that you are now living in a region with a Q5 hospital. That there are no battles atm you could fight is not in the area of my responsibility. Just alike the citizens who "stuck again in ePoland?" I put a question mark because it is a question, who and when was ordered to leave eGermany back to ePoland? Again new rumors and displeasure were created, the missing MPP was a new drop into the brimful drum, where I have to fear, that a big number is just crying for their lost "profits" than being upset for the lack of help for the eUK. Like in the case of the hospital and the process of building it, the arguments in the MPP case are again "We got so much allies", "We'll take the risk of losing eGermany again". Sure, we have allies who would do everything they can to help us, but that didn't helped us either the first time, because we are neither a high priority in this war nor are we located strategical convenient, both together is a fatal combination. And yes, there are some players who would risk a new erasement, but those responsible for that decision have another point of view or maybe they have a further-reaching plan which must not be make public?!? Yet it's time for election campaign and some (or should I say one) persons simmer all up, add a pinch of past problems and catchwords and talk about an impeachment based on massive mistakes. Well, I don't know whether an unpopular decision is also a misstake, that everybody has to answer for himself. But I will repeat myself corresponding here like in congress: impeachment is bollocks and no one would vote for it above all because of tactical reasons (all right, there would be one vote for it). Because our replacement president Walther Rathenau (he was secondplaced in election and would be by game rules Konrad's successor) would be thrown into the cold water for the last five days (now 4), without any information, relation to happenings and responsible power because a lack of background knowledge. Furthermore we would have a completeley different problem: HE IS eSWISS! I don't want to know how this buggy game would react on such like things, in the worst case we would be without a president till the next election. Such suggestion can be given just rash or in order to aim something different -> election campaign. Good Luck to all parties (sentence changed to current events).

That was our little excursus to past events. Now it's your turn my dear rookies, newbies, and e-babies:

Yeah, it bugs when you cannot fight, take more XP and gain your wellness, but you have to listen each time how the oldies say: "when I was e-young there were no TW" etc. But that is not the clue of that old phrase: It is not a implicitness to have daily fights! eGermany is not an exception, but the rule. There are many fight around us atm, but they will also finish. We will have our battles again, just before peace time returns. That will be a period of days, weeks, and months without firing a bullet. Training Wars (short TW) have been expensive in past and also were fought sometimes just one or two times a week. Having more MPPs meant to cut costs, but now the MPP costs rose to the triple fold. We were not in another position then you, we kept ourself in the game with the community. The boredom and slow progress did not scared us away. I'm also an occupation "born" citizen and traveled a lot of countries for my daily bread. Now and then, all countries have their own kind of social network to retain you from the starvation death. It's not a shame to move to another country and to work and train there, until your chance come to do so in your homecountry. Who is not able to fight from his country has the choice: quitting job, buying ticket and moving to the next battlefield or not, it's all about 10 XP and some damage, that is the price for your progress. Get used to it dear friends. The government always do it's best to serve country and people, experienced players will always try to help the "younger". That is the only constant in this game, not the daily increase of damage, XP, and wellness through war.
Therefore you can wonder for future events, wars, and party mud fights (still there are fans of it... well, I'm not).

What you live now is a piece "normality", which also awaits you in future. Some people say it's our obligation to keep you in the game. How could we?! There are no possibilities but articles which also getting bored. I say no... it's your choice to stay in game. If you like eGermany and the game you are not such active in this "clicking-game-background". The fun and heart is the community, register on our national forums and join the IRC. Here you'll find the soul of the game and here you'll find your reasons to stay in game, if you want to. If that is not good enough for you, then finish better now then later. Because each baby is a cost factor, money and products (and also a mental😁). That are things, that the state loves to give to it's babies in order to make adults of you. You are not dispensable or playing a minor part, you are in the very beginning of your e-life, the part we have been and we do our best to get you here where we are. But you have to do your bit.

Thanks for your patience through this long text.
