Howdy folks its me dk3dknight,
I'm sorry for not writing more and more articles its been
a very busy term for me...

Probably not much a solid excuse.. 😛

Anyway Here's what is going on in the department now.

Contests-
As you know we run contests all the time and I encourage you to check it out...
but that's not the purpose of this article. We will be launching a new version of our lotto, and my fellow party members I ask that if you get a chance to check it out. Now some might go OH NOEZ you can't do a lotto.. If your saying this you don't know much about the lucky lotto, first its free and everyone wins SOMETHING...

So as you can imagine is not something I expect to be blocked by the admins, they were clear that for profit contests or contests that feature a pot to be won are not permitted.. thankfully the lucky lotto is not such a game.

WAHHH you might be saying... no worries first everyone wins with the lucky lotto and we have sets different rewards for each type of win.
50 dollars for picking the correct number,
20 if your off by one
500 if you get a straight aka the chosen number is in the middle, (like a poker) If your numbers are 1-5 and the lucky lotto number was 3 you get the straight.

Why these rewards?
Well its a little of a combination of a lotto and a good game of cards.. 🙂



Anyway that will be coming up later today once I finish writing up stuff...
but for now lets take a leg off and talk about some stuff.

As many of your know wtp and feds are having a click war, I remind everyone to participate in it everyday, this click war is also a attempt to get more users to the game.

I ask that my fellow Feds to stand tall this day, its almost election time the current party presidents are Greene12 and Evil_Elvis and while both candidates are running parody slam campaigns in good humor, I ask that my fellow feds keep there humor and wits up, and prepare for more silliness from the duet...

I know its been a tough month, and while I've always done what I thought best for the Feds and Fun Department, I generally have a aching feeling I should be doing more... WARNING THE FOLLOWING IS A WORD OF PROGRESS

Each month the fed awards run there will have its post for example
(Fed Awards For January 2014) ,voting will take place for 15 days
1 winner per category. The voting will start either the first or second
of each month. The Top Fed Award The Highest honor
will be Hall of Fame.

Im going to look over some past categories to put those together.

After a year of them, we combine those for that year into a yearly collection thread.
(Fed Awards 2014) (I assume sticky?)
And delete or archive the monthly ones.

Okay well first off let me know what y'all think so far, and please give me some
rules that we need to have and suggestions

How votes will be tallied, I was thinking a gdoc form, that spits out into a gdoc excel form? I kinda wish there would be a way to make it multiple choice based on current list of feds with a write in option. I only say that because it would making counting easier but I accept that might not be acceptable and time consuming set up multiple choice slots like that.

If that is a no go just a normal gdoc form that submit to a excel sheet and we just go in and standardize the names. I imagine there is a way to ask gdoc to count the times a name shows up in a column.

Now how to prevent voting fraud, there are a few ways of doing that but I want your ideas on it as well, a few I could come up with is asking the person to put there name in there vote thought that requires the user to trust us... the next being a voter pin, a collection of numbers and letter issued out to each user like a voter card.

They would simply give us there voter pin in lieu of there name. (Just a idea)

Anyway thoughts so forth?

We are Looking for some volunteers to help the fun department, help us help everyone else.

We are looking to grow and expand the fun department and I am looking for a few good Minions.

Objectives:


To expand the Fun Departments Reach and Expand the Fun.
To take care of Feds who are in need of help.
To guide Feds to the resources they need.
Ensure everybody has a good time, and to mediate when necessary.


If a fed is sad cheer em up, if a fed is depressed make em laugh, if a fed is hungry feed em, if a fed is out of guns give em spare, if you see feds fighting mediate and if they won't listen let me know I have special ways of mediation on forums.. they will either laugh or take a break 😛...

ALL HAIL THE FEDS, now I am looking for some volunteers let me know if you interested.
