Epic warfare event
sloegin
1. you get x3 prestige points in an epic battle (only after it has gone epic)
2. the quicker you get lots of pp the easier it will become. Therefore on the first day use all your energy bars. at 625 PP you get +10 energy generation - get here ASAP
3. On the first day use your energy bars ideally in an epic battle. Dont worry as you will get them back plus more as rewards (at 4000, 12500, 15000, 17500 pp etc).
4. Time to use those houses over the first few days to get your energy generation bonuses (at 625, 1250, 2000, 5000, 7500 etc).
5. In the last few days you wont have time to sleep as you will be generating energy as quickly as you can use it. Therefore book some days off work - and a few days after to recover.

It's not worth it. Rewards are present at ridiculously high prestige points.
say 17500PP target will earn you 220 EB. to get 17500PP you need to eat 17500 q5 food which earlier cost £0.3 each giving £5250 or say 26.3 gold.
so eating 26 gold worth of food will get you 220 EB reward. OK these assumptions dont take into account food is more expensive now or the weps that you will use. however still sounds good to me.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. This week I had around 7000 PP, and that is with 60 energy recovery which I won't have next week (unless if I reach 50000 PP, which is insane). I usually get around 5000-6000 PP. This means that I need additional 11500 PP from 1150 EB to get to 17500 PP and get 220 EB. Even though in some battles I will get more PP from epic battles, it's still a giant minus. You spend a lot more than you get.
I don't see PP as a way to make profit, but rather as a way to support your fighting, so as to be able to do more for less. Look at it that way, and it makes more sense. I don't normally manage more than about 750/800 a week anyway, so most of it's irrelevant to me.
I was wrong. Didn't read well their update. You get a lot more energy recovery than on regular weekly challenges.

@Ser Fartsalot: Your calc is wrong I guess. If you have PowerPack active (which it seems from the 60 refill you are referring) then at 2k PP you already got the same 60/6min refill... same as this week
Oh, they didn't mention energy recovery on 1 PP.

Noobs like me again don't stand a chance.
