EDITORIAL: DEFENSE OF KIWI INSTITUTIONS
With almost a month without a president, and half a month without a congress, eNew Zealand requires someone to organize and protect the country. As there aren't still elections in New Zealand, the community has voted in the forums of the country (erep.co.nz) and has decided that mr. Myles Robinson is our provisional Head of State.

The election was clear and transparent, so there is no reason to oppose the provisional government right now. In November 5th, all citizens will have the right to elect and be elected in the first presidential elections of the country. Right now, the most important thing to keep in eNew Zealand is security.

Without security, there is no way a democracy can be protected. Without security, enemy groups will come to eNew Zealand and stop our development. (Under the leadership of the provisional government we have developed much more than the other new countries). And security can only be guaranteed with a social value called order.

As long as we respect the order and the hierarchies that our society is based in, our country will continue it's development road. I am not saying that you must agree with the current order or with it's politics. It's just that you must respect it. If you want to change it, there is a way, as this is a democracy; in the day of elections vote for someone who proposes a new kind of order you like. Still, as a democratic nation, we must respect our leaders, as they are elected by people who are equals to us.

Democracy is the form of government in which citizens elect not only the people who will represent them, but also the structure they want for their society.

So I invite all of you to have an active support to this government. Active support means to participate in its desitions by using forums, chats, articles, comments, pms, etc. Active support isn't agreeing with every single word that Myles Robinson says, it is to tell him and other officials what you feel is good and what you feel is bad, and to suggest them different ways of doing things.

The growth of eNew Zealand depends of the grade of unity we have, divided we fall.

Jose Miguel.
